Funny LEGO The Lord of the Rings video shows Legolas re-evaluating his friendship with Gimli.

Brotherhood Workshop has put out another very funny video that takes a look at the friendship of Legolas and Gimli from The Lord of the Rings. This particular scene is from The Lordof the Rings: Return of the King when Legolas and Gimli express their friendship to each other. It's a very touching scene that was built towards over the course of three films. This funny LEGO video however puts a new spin on the scene that makes the characters re-evaluate their friendship.

Listen to a great a capella version of the iconic Mortal Kombat theme!

As a tribute to the iconic Mortal Kombat franchise, and the recent release of Mortal Kombat X, The Warp Zone has created a fantatic music video where they sing an a capella version of the games' iconic theme song. The gang over at The Warp Zone even dressed as variou characters from the game to give the video that extra special touch. I remember loving the Mortal Kombat games when I was little and running around sing this theme with all of my friends.

New promotional art surfaces for Wonder Woman from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

A new piece of concept art has emerged that gives fans another look at the costume that will be worn by actress Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  I think the look is great but it seems that many fans are not liking the cape/cloak that Wonder Woman is wearing. I doubt that she will be wearing the cape the entire time and that once things get series the cape/cloak will come off. What do you think of Wonder Woman so far?

Hugh Jackman confirms that Wolverine 3 will be his last film as Wolverine.

When actor Hugh Jackman took the role as Wolverine in the film X-Men in 2000 there was no way for him or anyone to know that he would be still playing the role for over 15 years. However, here we are and fans absolutely love the character that Jackman has built on screen.

There has been a lot of back and forth on whether Hugh Jackman would be stepping away from the character soon but it seems that he has officially ended the debate. While appearing on the Dr. Oz Show, Jackman confirmed that the 2017 film "Wolverine 3" will be his last.
"“This will be my last one,” Jackman said, point blank, when asked about it on the Dr. Oz show earlier today. “It is my last time,” he continued. “It just felt like it was the right time to do it. And let’s be honest, 17 years. I never thought in a million years it would last, so I’m so grateful to the fans for the opportunity of playing it. “I kind of have in my head what we’re going to do in this last one. It just feels like this is th…

A new generation of Griswolds head to Walley World in the new Vacation trailer!

It has been 30 years since the original National Lampoon's Vacation was released but it looks like a new generation of Griswolds will be hitting the road this July! The new film will be similarly be titled Vacation and will follow an adult Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) and his family as they try to have their own cross country trip to Walley World.

The first red band trailer was released today for the film and it looks pretty funny. The film is clearly set to be a sequel to the original 1983 film but will also serve as a reboot for the franchise. They even poke fun that this film will stand on its own even if you haven't heard of the original. Making their return will be Chevy Chase and Beverly D’’Angelo reprising their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold.

This new film will unfortunately be nowhere near the original but with plenty of references to it and nostalgia working with it it should do well enough. Don't expect the old style of humor however as the humor in this film wi…

See side by side comparisons of Captain America and Iron Man's new suits in Captain America: Civil War compared to those in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

New concept art has been popping up a lot this week for Captain America: Civil War that features both Captain America and Tony Stark. The new outfits/armor look great and thanks to Umberto Gonzalez we can now see them side by side.

Although Captain America's new suit may look similar to the one we saw him wear in Avengers: Age of Ultron, this side by side comparison shows that there are clearly several updates and changes. The red accents are gone from his chest around the star, the white portion is completely gone from his bicep, and his gloves are different as well.

Looking at Tony Stark's new Iron Man armor (Mark 46), the noticeable changes are on the chest and neck when you compare the gold accents on the armor. The arc reactor is also clearly different in the new armor as well. You can see changes to the back of Iron Man's fists with the addition of something that seems to be lighting up. You'll also see the addition of gold paneling on his thigh and that the gold…

New poster for Marvel's Ant-Man brings the cast all together.

A new poster for Ant-Man has been released by Marvel and it features the entire cast. It's interesting that the poster shows both Hank Pym (Michael Douglass) and Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) flanking Ant-Man in the middle as though Ant-Man is his own person all together and not either of those two in the suit. The argument can be made that he is his own person but at first glance I just thought it was an interesting choice so that everyone's face can be seen in the poster.
"In Ant-Man, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) approaches master thief Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) with a suit that grants him the ability to shrink in size but increases his strength! Scott must embrace his inner hero and put the suit to good use and save the world under Pym's leadership."Ant-Man will be in theaters on July 17, 2015.

Super Power Beat Down - Green Ranger vs Ryu!

This is the match up that a lot of the fans of the popular Bat in the Sun series "Super Power Beatdown" have been waiting for; the Green Ranger (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) vs Ryu (Street Fighter)! This newest video is absolutely badass as actor Jason David Frank returns as the Green Ranger and goes toe to toe with one of Street Fighter's most popular fighters. The new Green Ranger suit is a welcomed update to modern times and it looks fantastic! I was impressed at how well choreographed the fight was and it is truly a lot of fun to watch. The video begins with Bat in the Sun walks around Long Beach Comic Expo to ask fans who they think would win in a fight between the two and then the actual fight starts at the 4 minute mark.

Who do you think would wind up victorious in this Super Power Beatdown?

The first set of photos of actress Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) working on set of Doctor Who have surfaced and they are pretty cool! There is still no official word on who Williams is playing on the show but from these photos we see her wearing period garb. It appears as though Williams may start out as a masked highway robber in the 18th century perhaps. We also see Williams riding a horse and holding a pistol.

Maisie Williams will be guest starring in a two part story, episodes five and six, of Doctor Who's 9th season this fall.

Harley Quinn co-creator, Bruce Timm, comments on Harley's new look in the Suicide Squad film.

The iconic Batman character Harley Quinn was co-created by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini. The character made her debut in September 1992 in the Batman: The Animated Series episode "Joker's Favor". She soon became a fan favorite character and jumped from the small screen into the comics. Flash forward 23 years and Harley is now making her big screen debut in the upcoming DC film Suicide Squad.

Bruce Timm recently did an interview with io9 where he spoke about Harley and what he thought about her new look in the film that was revealed this week.
"I just saw the pic like a couple hours ago. It was interesting. I was frankly a little nervous about what Harley would look like, but I thought she looked really cool. So I’m optimistic, we'll see." It looks like the new Harley has the approval of her creator which is always nice to see. The interview went on to talk about Harley's psyche and her most important character qualities:

Iron Man concept art is revealed for Captain America: Civil War!

Another piece of concept art for Captain America: Civil War has surfaced and it focuses solely on the new Iron Man armor that will be worn by Tony Stark. This new armor, being reported as Mark 46, somewhat resembles Stark's "Bleeding Edge" armor which essentially made Iron Man the strongest and toughest hero in the world in the comics. (More on that armor can be read here.) Take a look at the new concept art below and let me know what you think about this new look.

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy confirms a new Indiana Jones will be made!

When Disney bought Lucasfilm from George Lucas we knew that they acquired the film right to the Indiana Jones franchise. There have been a lot of rumors lately that Disney would be making a new film and were possibly looking to cast actor Chris Pratt as Indiana Jones.

Although we may still not know who will be playing him a new interview conducted by Vanity Fair with Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy reveals that a new Indiana Jones film will eventually be made.
"In buying the company, Disney also got rights, for better or worse, to less-storied Lucasfilm properties, among them Willow and Radioland Murders. A bigger prize is the Indiana Jones franchise. Kennedy confirmed rumors that another Indy movie ‘will one day be made inside this company. When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it.'" I think we all knew that a new Indiana Jones film would come sooner or later but now we have confirmation that …

Marvel announces that Martin Freeman is cast in Captain America: Civil War!

Marvel has just revealed some big news for their upcoming film Captain America: Civil War! They have officially announced that actor Martin Freeman (Sherlock, The Hobbit) has joined the cast for the film.

Marvel Studios President and Captain America: Civil War producer Kevin Feige stated:
"From his roles as Bilbo Baggins and Doctor Watson to Tim in 'The Office,' Martin's range from the dramatic to the comedic has consistently impressed us. We couldn't be more honored or excited to have such a talented actor join the Marvel Cinematic Universe." The official announcement does not reveal who Freeman will be playing but this is pretty cool news! It was recently announced that his Sherlock co-star Benedict Cumberbatch was cast as Doctor Strange so it'll be interesting to see if the two will share screen time in a future film.

Are you excited to hear that Martin Freeman will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Who do you think he could be playing?

Gwendoline Christie is confirmed to be Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Force Awakens!

Some big news has been revealed for Star Wars: The Force Awakens today as fans finally found out who actress Gwendoline Christie will be playing in the film!

May fans out there had been speculating it but it is now confirmed that Christie is the "Chrome Trooper" we have seen in the film's trailers. Vanity Fair broke the news along with a new photo (seen below). Christie's character is named Captain Phasma and is an officer in The First Order. The First Order will be the new regime taking over for the Galactic Empire.

I've heard rumors that Captain Phasma may have been tasked for hunting down John Boyega's character Finn who apparently deserts the Stormtrooper ranks. I'm very interested to learn more about this character. I'd imagine that her back story would be very interesting. Are you excited to see more of Captain Phasma?

The first piece of promo art surfaces for Captain America: Civil War!

Thanks to Umberto Gonzalez fans can now take a look at the first piece of promotional art for the upcoming Marvel film Captain America: Civil War! This new piece of art shows off some new costumes that will be worn by Steve Rogers and Tony Stark and they look pretty cool.

Captain America's outfit seems to be the same as we saw in Avengers: Age of Ultron but it looks to have some more red accents in places. Iron Man's new suit on the other hand looks to be a combination of his "Bleeding Edge" armor (similarly seen in Age of Ultron) and his helmet from the "Ultimate Iron Man" comics.

It'll be interesting to see what designs are chosen in the end for the film but this first piece of art looks great! What do you think of the art and the new costumes?

A new behind the scenes featurette with the special effects department over at ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) reveals that Hulk was originally supposed to turn into the savage "Grey Hulk" in Avengers: Age of Ultron!

The video talks about what went into bringing Hulk to life in the new film and what were some of the differences in the process from the first Avengers film to the second. During this talk it is revealed that during the Hulk vs Hulkbuster fight sequence that Hulk was originally going to turn into Grey Hulk while under the influence of Scarlet Witch's mind tampering. They do not say why the decision to not go this route was made but it would have been really cool to see Grey Hulk on the big screen. Perhaps they are saving it for a future film.

Scarlett Johansson stars in Saturday Night Live's new Black Widow parody trailer.

Last night Scarlett Johansson hosted Saturday Night Live and of course the show couldn't let her come on without doing an Avengers skit. Director David Ayer releases the first official Suicide Squad photo of the cast in costume!

Suicide Squad director David Ayer has given fans a real treat today by releasing the first official image of the Suicide Squad cast (or more specifically the Task Force X team) together in full costume!

This is the first time we are seeing any of these costumes and they look great! A lot of attention will be on fan favorite Harley Quinn but it has been stated that she will have several outfits throughout the film. This first outfit is interesting but she definitely looks the part which is great! (Love the big smile!) Karen Fukuhara as Katana also looks absolutely amazing. Cara Delevingne as Enchantress looks down right creepy, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc looks cool though I to see more soon to really get a good look at him, and and Will Smith's Deadshot looks pretty good.

I have to admit that I am excited to see what can be done with this set of characters and am really looking forward to this film. I hope that individual official photos of these characters are release…
