New Doctor Who Season 8 teaser trailer teases the return of a fan favorite character! [video]

A new teaser trailer has just been released for Doctor Who and it is a very interesting one! We get to see Peter Capaldi as the Doctor at the TARDIS console and hear a rather interesting voice doing a voice over. I'll let you watch the trailer first but read on under the trailer for my personal thoughts!

It is interesting that we see The TARDIS console sparking and catching fire again and this time we see the Doctor getting electrocuted at the console. Many are taking a guess that the voice that we hear is Davros which is a great guess and most likely the answer. (But there is also something about the last few lines that sound like Dalek Caan which would be super cool to me.) We never saw either of them die so it is completely plausible that they managed to escape the Dalek Crucible in the Season 4 finale "Journey's End" and are still out there. What do you think? Could this be Davros? And what does he have in store for the Doctor?

Four new characters are revealed for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice! Three of them are villains!

Latino Review has once again come through with some pretty big news concerning Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It appears that they have discovered four additional characters that will be in the film. At the moment though these are unconfirmed and should be taken as a rumor.

*Possible spoiler beyond this point.

Latino Review is reporting that they have uncovered four additional characters that will be making an appearance. Three of these characters look like they will be minor villains.

The reported villains are:

(1) Victor Zsasz - A brutal serial killer from Gotham who carves tally marks on his own body to keep count of his kills.

(2) Morgan Edge - A public relations executive for Lexcorp who has a shady background. Edge and Lex Luthor will have a history as being a part of Hob's Bay's most notorious gangs when they were younger.

(3) David Cain - On of the world's most deadly assassins who is reported to meet up with Lex Luthor's bodyguard about bein…

Once Upon A Time reveals their casting for Frozen's Elsa!

ABC has officially cast the role of Elsa, the snow queen from the hit Disney film Frozen. Australian actress Georgina Haig will be stepping into the role along side recently cast Elizabeth Lail who will be playing Anna, and Scott Michael Foster (Greek, Zero Hour) who will be playing Kristoff. Haig is most known for her role as Henrietta on Fox's Fringe and is currently working on CBS's Reckless.

Where the casting of Lail and Foster as Anna and Kristoff respectively already has me convinced that those characters will look great, the casting of Haig as Elsa hasn't completely sold me on the character yet. I think the casting is fine but I am interested to see what Haig will look like in costume and with her hair done in the style of Elsa. What do you think of the casting of Georgina Haig?

Fans get their first look at Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice!

The Man of Steel has landed! Warner Bros. has released the first photograph of actor Henry Cavill as Superman in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. After rumors of a slight costume change it appears that Superman's outfit has remained relatively unchanged for this film. The lines on the side of Superman's stomach are changed slightly and the "belt" seems a little more square. But those aren't big changes. The forearm also has slight changes in those line details as well.

The photograph was published by USA Today who had the chance to talk to director Zack Snyder about the film. When asked about the controversial "v" in the title he had this to say,
"The director can't say exactly how the relationship between the two superheroes evolves, "but suffice it to say there is a 'v' in between their names" in the movie title, Snyder says. He explains that having the "v" instead of "vs." is a way "…

A new set video has surfaced from Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron set from when they were shooting in Italy a few months ago. The video is lengthy at 16 minutes but you get a great look at actress Elizabeth Olsen working on her scene as Scarlet Witch. You also get to see some set preparation with extras running around. Below the video you'll find a time stamp breakdown of the 16 minute video.

Avengers: Age of Ultron will be in theaters on May 1, 2015.

Movie Pilot was nice enough to break down the 16 minute video for us.
Scarlet Witch seems to be going through either some sort of traumatic event involving her looking insanely at the sky, or her psychic abilities will be adding in some floating cars and rocks with CGI. Or both. Probably both.  1:27-5:03
Green screen! You can expect some cool special effects here. After all, it is the Avengers. This thing is going to blow our mind.  5:04-14:00
Set preparations. I am positive now that a huge portion of the movie ta…

Once Upon A Time casts Frozen's Anna and Kristoff!

ABC's Once Upon A Time ended big last season bringing the world of Frozen to the show by introducing the character of Elsa in the closing scene. At the moment it appears that Elsa will start off as the show's new villain. But the show can't bring over just one character! No, ABC has been busy casting others from the hit Disney film and two of those castings have now been announced! Although we still do not know who will be playing Elsa we now know that newcomer Elizabeth Lail will be playing Anna while actor Scott Michael Foster (Greek, Zero Hour) will play Kristoff. I actually think these two roles were cast perfectly. It'll be interesting to see how they look once they are in costume.

Are you excited at the confirmation of these two characters? Do you like the casting choices made?

Could this be the fate of Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron?

Rumors are starting to roll around that have the potential to be some big spoilers for Hulk in the upcoming Marvel film Avengers: Age of Ultron. So if you do not want to read potential spoilers then I suggest you stop reading here.

Last chance to stop reading...

Recent rumors of a Hulk stand alone film featuring the "Planet Hulk" story line have been denied by actor Mark Ruffalo but it appears that he could be telling the truth while still leading fans off his trail at the same time. Let's take a look at how his denial could be both truth and a lie.

Drew McWeeny from HitFix reported the news on the Hulk that shows the character will be getting more focus as the Marvel Cinematic Universe veers off from the Marvel Comic Universe. Here is what McWeeny stated about the Hulk in the upcoming Avengers film:
"Without giving away why and how, let's look at the state of things for Bruce Banner at the end of "Age Of Ultron." Banner continues to play a key role …

RBS' Cosplay Closet - Storm and Ice Man from X-Men!

Take a look at these jaw dropping cosplays from HeroesCon 2014 of Storm and Ice Man from Marvel's X-Men. Storm looks incredible and I have to give it to this cosplayer (identity unknown) for doing this particular version of Storm. Not enough people do it and she pulled it off marvelously. Painting her eye lids white was also a brilliant choice and the effect looks great. Ice Man is being portrayed by cosplayer "Flashfletch33". There's no doubt that this could be the best Ice Man that is out there. Let's take a look at how he pulled together his "icing" affect.
"Thanks guys for the compliments! I am the Iceman here. It was about a 2 hour make up job. The make up is a Glossy gel that is safe for skin and water soluble. I came up with the mixture and added bits of silicone to give it the Icy feel. Its hard to tell from this pic but it actually had an ice like shimmer to it. The detail was done with an airbrush and all done by me. Thanks so much for al…

RBS' Cosplay Closet - Colossalcon 2014 - A cosplay paradise! [video]

The title of this video says it all. I've never had the chance to head over to Colossalcon but it truly does look like a cosplay paradise! These videos are from Colossalcon 2014 which is held at the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, Ohio and it looks like an absolute blast! Lots of sun, water, plenty of fun to be had, an arcade, and adorable animals. What is not to love about this convention.

On top of all that, and most importantly, you have some truly inspiring cosplays walking around! Cosplayers are able to show off their summer cosplay style at this great resort and from these videos you can really see how much they are enjoying their time. Some of the summer time variant cosplays look perfect! (Summer time Harley Quinn and Joker for example.) I was also excited watching these videos because I found some friends in them which is cool. I'll definitely have to look into attending this convention next year!

Description of possible San Diego Comic-Con teaser trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is leaked.

It's been said that fans will get their first look at Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. May are hoping that they'll be able to see a trailer or possibly some new movie stills / concept art revealing the new look of some of the superheroes that we'll see in the film.

Rumor has it that SDCC will be getting a teaser trailer and that it already briefly leaked online. This is pure rumor and there is no confirmation of this being true but let's take a look at what the teaser trailer is being reported to look like.

*Rumored potential spoilers in the trailer description.*
"The Batman vs Superman trailer starts with a dark screen with the voice over of General Zod's 'you are not alone message' the screen slowly pans and it reveals that the scene is inside the Batcave. The camera slowly pans to a shot where you can only see the back of Batman but he is not yet wearing his cowl. Every monitor in the Batcav…

New world record speed run for Super Mario Bros. is set! [video]

The impossible has been done! The world record speed run for Super Mario Bros. on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) has just been beaten! The old record run had the entire game beaten in 4:58:09. Gamer "Blubbler" has beaten that record and created a new fastest time of 4:57:69. This new fastest time came courtesy of a glitch at the end of level 8-2 that allowed Blubbler to hit the end flag pole and skip the walk over to the castle. This glitch was no fault of the gamer so the time counts. In the description of the video Bubbler also provides fans with a detailed description of why certain things that looked "wrong" in his run were actually not. Like touching piranha plants for example. Congrats to Bubbler on the new record!
