Its no contest when you compare Marvel and DC films. Marvel is so far ahead it's no longer funny. However, it seems that Warner Bros. and DC Comics are not going to just roll over and continue to let Marvel dominate the film market. It's being reported by Nikki Finke, a well known and respected Hollywood reporter, that Warner Bros and DC are ready to announce their film line-up at San Diego Comic Con this year. She however gives her readers an inside scoop. Take a look at DC's rumored film line-up until 2018!

July 2016 – Shazam
Xmas 2016 – Sandman
May 2017 – Justice League

May 2018 – Man Of Steel 2" Finke also gives fans a reason for the delay of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice by stating,

Harrison Ford gets injured on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII!

It has been reported that earlier today veteran actor Harrison Ford was air lifted off the set of Star Wars: Episode VII and brought to a hospital about injuring his ankle on set. Harrison Ford, who is 71, was injured by the door of the Millennium Falcon! (You bucket of bolts!) Thankfully the sustained injury is not serious and Ford will be fine.
""Harrison Ford sustained an ankle injury during filming today on the set of Star Wars: Episode VII. He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care. Shooting will continue as planned while he recuperates," said a statement from Disney." I know a lot of fans out there will be happy to hear that the film will not be delayed due to this injury. I am curious to how the injury was sustained. Could a door have closed on his ankle? Could he have just tripped on the frame of the door? There's no word yet on exactly what happened but it's good to hear that he'll be okay.

Nintendo reveals the trailer and gameplay for Splatoon, a first party shooter that looks crazy fun! [video]

One new game announced at this years E3 for the Nintendo Wii U that has caught me by surprise is Splatoon. Splatoon is a first-party shooter that will be released in 2015.

The game is an online multiplayer game that is literally filled with color. Players take the role of a half-human, half-squid being that will run and swim around the play arena armed with a paintball gun of sorts. This will be a 4 vs 4 shooter where players will try to cover the battle arena in their teams' color paint (or ink since they are squids) in a certain time limit. The ability to transform into a squid and swim through your respective color ink and hide from other players brings a lot of strategy into the game as well. You can move fast as a squid and can set up some really great strategic ambushes. I'm really excited to see more from this game and see how it develops. Check out the announcement trailer as well as a gameplay video showing off the greatness of the game. Enjoy!

While fans were excited about the introduction of Palutena (who has an awesome reveal trailer!) fans seemed a little perplexed at the choice to bring in Pac-Man and Mr. Game and Watch. Though we do not get to see Mr. Game and Watch actually fight in the trailer, Pac-Man looks like he'll be a fun character to try out. And Palutena? Well she's a goddess and it looks like her power and ability will be suited for one. Check out the reveal trailers below!

Game of Thrones theme remix played on a NES keytar! [video]

Theme song covers are easy to come by but Theremin Hero has created a great cover of the Game of Thrones theme using a NES keytar! That's right! He has converted a classic NES console into a fully functioning Keytar (and still a functioning NES console) and the sound that it produces is pretty great.
"Most of the buttons are functional and can be remapped to different functions, as can the whammy bar. It also has an onboard arpeggio and drum sequencer.  The sound comes from the original RP2A03 chip in the NES, giving it that classic 8-bit sound. All of the available sound channels are utilised.  The software runs on a raspberry pi and is written in a language called Pure Data (pd). There are various modes including a midi controller mode as well as a standalone mode, which allows the whole instrument to be used with a battery pack." Enjoy!
