Dora the Explorer and the Destiny Medallion - Part 3! [video]

College Humor has released the third and final part to their web series Dora the Explorer and the Destiny Medallion. (Sorry for the late post, things have been a little busy.) If you haven't seen them yet be sure to watch Part 1 and Part 2 before watching this part.

Alex Winter as Dora does a great job here but this part was a little lighter on the humor than the others. Though it does end with a laugh that will remind fans of the television series. Let me know what you thought of this 3-part web series in the comments. What parts did you enjoy? Anything you would have changed?

Patton Oswalt's Star Wars Episode VII pitch gets an amazing movie poster!

On Wednesday I posted an article that had a video of guest star Patton Oswalt on the show Parks and Recreation where he pitched a story for the upcoming Star Wars Episode VII film. The video can be seen here. Oswalt's story would become the ultimate crossover event in movie history that would collide the worlds of  Star Wars, The Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Spider-Man, and Clash / Wrath of the Titans. And this would all be inside Star Wars Episode VII.

In light of this amazing scene, artist Jef Castro from Entertainment Weekly created this brilliant movie poster that includes all of the story elements that Oswalt had in his pitch. Fantastic!! The best part is that the movie poster is styled after the cover art to Marvel’s The Infinity Gauntlet which can also be seen below. Well done, Jef Castro!!

Another big thank you to my girlfriend, Jackie, for showing me this fantastic movie poster!

The BBC reveals the name of Doctor Who's Season 7 finale episode!

Fans have been theorizing on what the name of the last episode to Season 7 could be. They knew it would have to be something big given that this is the episode that will lead off to the 50th Anniversary. Well the BBC has finally released the name of the episode along with a episode description and two cool episode posters!
The name of the episode will be "The Name of the Doctor" and the description given by the BBC is:
"Someone is kidnapping the Doctor’s friends, leading him towards the one place in all of time and space that he should never go." That is a pretty fantastic name to draw in viewers! Perhaps this is the episode that River Song will find out the Doctor's name, something we found out that she knew in the Season 4 episode "Forest of the Dead". As for the fans however, something tells me that they'll have to wait a little longer before they actually find out what the Doctor's true name is. What do you think; will we actually find out…

Marvel released the first poster for Thor: The Dark World!

Marvel has just released the first official poster for Thor: The Dark World and it looks fantastic! The poster features Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder, Thor, and has some great lightning effects coming off of his hammer, Mjolnir. Thor looks like he means business this time around. What do you think of this first poster for Thor: The Dark World?

Thor: The Dark World will hit theaters on November 8, 2013.

Christopher Eccleston returns to Doctor Who - but not in the way you'd expect.

By now fans of Doctor Who are well aware that Christopher Eccleston has turned down the opportunity to return for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special.

However, fans may be excited to know that Eccleston will still be reappearing on the show this season! It just may not be in the form that they would expect. Eccleston will be making his appearance in next week's episode "Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS".  It is being reported that fans will hear Eccleston's voice say "The assembled hordes of Genghis Khan couldn't get through these doors, and believe me, they've tried," which is a line taken from the 2005 premiere episode of Doctor Who titled "Rose".

So this kind of return may be just a big tease but it's still cool that we'll be hearing from the 9th Doctor in next week's episode. Are you excited for this news or do you feel like this spoken line could have been left out and not teased fans?

Harrison Ford storms off Jimmy Kimmel Live after another fight with Chewbacca! [video]

Last night, Harrison Ford appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to promote his new movie 42 but things did not go exactly how he expected. When the topic of Star Wars Episode VII was brought up Ford insisted that he could not answer any questions about the film but when Jimmy asked the audience for questions all they wanted to talk about was Star Wars. But things got really intense when Chewbacca showed up in the audience and the conversation got a little heated between himself and Harrison Ford. Watch what happens to cause Ford to get so angry that he storms off the show.

Patton Oswalt's Star Wars Episode VII pitch - Parks and Recreation [video]

Patton Oswalt is set to guest star on NBC's Parks and Recreation and in his episode he proposes a script for Star Wars Episode VII that would be the ultimate crossover event in movie history. The video is 8 minutes long and well worth watching. Watch and find out how Patton (all in Star Wars Episode VII) would cross over Star Wars, The Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Spider-Man, and Clash / Wrath of the Titans.

While he is explaining his story concept I got a clear visualization of the scenes he was describing. This would be the coolest crossover event ever! Or it would be horribly wrong and awful and still manage to be the coolest crossover event ever. Patton clearly sells it through his passionate speech! Watch and enjoy!

A big thank you to my girlfriend, Jackie, for sharing this video with me!

Photos from todays filming in Cardiff, Wales of the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary have started popping up on the internet and fans have let out a cry of joy. Today's photos are the first to feature both David Tennant (10th Doctor) and Matt Smith (11th and current Doctor) in costume together from the set.

The second photo is of David Tennant between takes and the third photo is of actress Joanna Page dressed in her outfit for Queen Elizabeth the 1st. Honest Trailers - Harry Potter! [video]

The folks over at Screen Junkies always make some fantastic "Honest Trailers" video but this video featuring the Harry Potter series had me laughing pretty hard. "Since you guys REALLY asked for this one - We sat and watched all eight movies (20 HOURS of Harry Potter!) so you could relive the moment or two you liked. NOTE: For those of you complaining about the different voice - we used the ACTUAL Voice of the ACTUAL Harry Potter Trailers to read it! So quit complaining." The different movie nicknames, "The one that everybody hates," and the cast names are hilarious. And as a huge fan of Quidditch, the end scene cracked me up! Enjoy!

Michael Bay casts Master Splinter in the new Ninja Turtles film!

Producer Michael Bay has just cast the role of Master Splinter in the new Ninja Turtles film. Splinter is the Turtle's surrogate father and sensei who is also a victim to mutation becoming a giant rat. The role in the film will be played by actor Danny Woodburn (Sienfeld, Mirror, Mirror).

The film is going to be a hybrid of live-action and CGI so it'll be interesting to see how they make Master Splinter look in the film and how Woodburn will be used to act out the part. Will he be doing his own martial arts? I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

What do you think of the casting of Woodburn as Master Splinter?

Ninja Turtles is set to hit theaters on June 6, 2014.

The Penguin tries to convince Batman that he certainly does kill people! [video]

Batman has always had a moral rule that he would never kill his enemies. However, if you watch some of the newer films, there may have been a few kills here or there. Batman would never admit this though. In fact, this funny video by College Humor will show you that he think all of his victims are sleeping. Watch as Commissioner Gordon and the Penguin (Patton Oswalt) try to convince him otherwise.

Photos of Jamie Foxx as Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2!

Fans are finally getting their first good look at Jamie Foxx as Electro in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The version of the character that the film is going with seems to be influenced by Electro from Ultimate Spider-Man. From the photos we can see that they are giving Electro his blue-ish skin and having LED lights within the hood of his hoodie create a glowing effect on his skin. Im very interested to see what the final look of Electro will look like and what suit they will give him, if any.

What do you think of these first photos of Jamie Foxx as Electro?

Tomb Raider - real life musical! [video]

Take a look at Lara Croft as she makes her way back to the positive, strong, force she used to be in this great musical video. The video promotes women as a strong role model in games and that they do not need "the man" to do things for them. The singing is alright but not great, but Katherine McManus does a great job as Lara Croft and showing the fierceness of the character. Fans of the Tomb Raider franchise should check this out!

Deadpool vs Gentleman! [video]

Fresh off the heels of his worldwide hit "Gangnam Style", Psy has released his newest single "Gentleman". The song has a different feel that "Gangnam Style" but it includes a catchy chorus and of course it's own dance moves. Weel, it didn't take long, but our favorite psychopath Deadpool has just released his own parody version of the video and it is great!
