Hilarious Matrix video shows us the films' script changes [video]

In The Matrix when you experience deja vu it means that something was changed in the Matrix in your environment. What was changed, however, it not always clear at first. Comedy troupe CAUTION: May Contain Nuts has created this fantastic video that features Agent Smith trying to explain to The Matrix cast some of the script changes that are coming up in the franchise after Neo experiences deja vu.

Cosplaying is coming to an end at some theaters.

Cosplayers love to attend their favorite movies dressed up as their favorite characters to show their love and support for the franchise. However, in light of last night's events in Aurora, Colorado where a gunman entered the theater wearing a tactile vest, leggings, groin protector, throat protector, gas mask and gloves, and then killed 12 and wounding more than 50 innocent movie goers, certain movie theaters are beginning to change their costume policies in order to protect their guests. The first to announce a change in their costume policy is AMC theaters.
"AMC Theatres said it will not let guests bring costumes, face-covering masks or fake weapons into the movies. The company added that anyone wanting a refund in light of this new policy will be granted one." At the moment it is unclear whether AMC is making this change for screenings for The Dark Knight Rises or if this change will be permanent for all movies. For the safety of all guests, it is most likely just …

During the Nerd HQ Q&A with the Doctor Who cast at San Diego Comic-Con, one little girl asks the Doctor, Matt Smith, if he is afraid of the Weeping Angels. On top of being a good question, the way in which she calls him "Doctor" and asks the question is just simply adorable. Furthermore, Matt Smith's response is perfect. Well done, Matt. The video is nice and short at 1min 16sec so I won't ruin his answer for you. Enjoy!

The Batmobile - a documentary on Batman's iconic car! [video]

One of the most, if not the most, iconic cars in comic history is Batman's Batmobile. The Batmobile first appeared in Detective Comics #27 (May, 1939) and has been a staple of Batman stories ever since. Thanks to this documentary, fans can now dive into the history of the Batmobile from the comics and television shows to films and cartoons. Although the full documentary doesn't come out until the holiday season of 2012, you can watch this 21 minute shortened version that still shows you some great behind the scenes looks at the design process and creation of each individual Batmobile. If this is just a preview of the full version then I cannot wait until this holiday season!
I've always really enjoyed Tim Burton's Batmobile from the original Batman but my all time favorite has always been the Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile. What Batmobile stands out as your all time favorite?

SDCC 2012 - New Iron Man 3 armor revealed!

With a new movie coming out, it was anticipated that Marvel would upgrade Tony Stark's Iron Man armor once again for Iron Man 3. Fans that anticipated this move were proven correct when Marvel revealed Tony's new armor at San Diego Comic-Con. Besides a new build look, the most noticeable change is the new color scheme that has gold overpowering the red in the suit. This certainly makes for a new radical look compared to what fans are used to. One can only wonder what makes Tony decide on the gold look for this new armor.

What do you think of the new Iron Man armor?

Possible Sleeping Beauty comedy may make Aurora a 'stalker'.

It seems that everybody wants to create a modern version of a fairy tale these days and 21 Jump Street producer Neal Mortiz is no exception to this. Mortiz is looking to create a comedy version to the tale of Sleeping Beauty. However, his story will have a particular twist that will set it apart from other versions.
"The 21 Jump Street producer is developing a modern-day retelling that finds the male protagonist accidently awakening Sleeping Beauty and finding that he can't get rid of the lovestruck heroine." Although Sony hasn't signed off on the movie just yet, Mortiz is developing the film with hopes that they will. So what do you think about a Sleeping Beauty movie where Aurora may have some love struck stalker-esque tendencies?

SDCC 2012 - Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two 5 minute trailer and game updates [video]

Disney's Epic Mickey for the Nintendo Wii was a hit with many gamers and at San Diego Comic Con gamers were treated to a sneak peek at the upcoming Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. The creator of the game, Warren Spector, went over a few of the bigger changes that will be present in the game. According to Spector, "choice" will play a big role in the game and can effect the outcome of the game. "One play through is expected to take 10-15 hours, but since the path you choose relies on an accumulation of choices, Warren thinks it will take three play-throughs, six with co-op, to see it all." Cooperative mode is a new feature for this game that will allow players to control both Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. (Otherwise Oswald is an AI controlled character.)

Contradictory to the first game, every piece of dialogue in the game be spoken with some of the characters expressing themselves in true Disney fashion; song! Spector also made it a …

Mario becomes an assassin in Plumber's Creed

There is a fine line between Mario being a 'hero' and Mario being a 'murderer'. How many times has Mario made it passed an enemy to only go back and kill them for their coins. With this in mind, Mario could find success in the assassin field. One artist kept this in mind as he created a great piece of art titled Plumber's Creed.

Think Mario should start running around rooftops and stabbing Koopa Troopas as he tracks down Bowser?

SDCC 2012 - Punisher star, Thomas Jane, debuts his short film Punisher: Dirty Laundry [video]

Usually a fan film is created by a bunch of kids with their personal video camera but Thomas Jane, star of the 2004 film Punisher, has just taken it a bit farther. During San Diego Comic-Con he debuted a Punisher short that he created with some of his own friends. A fan film created by the actual actor who played the character in the film? This is definitely a great idea. The short is 10 minutes long and titled Punisher: Dirty Laundry. There is no doubt that it truly shows his love for the character.  "I wanted to make a fan film for a character I've always loved and believed in - a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It's been a blast to be a part of from start to finish -- we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it."  The short is NSFW as it has strong language and is quite violent but if you aren't at work …

While at San Diego Comic-Con the cast of ABC's Once Upon a Time took some time to create a dating service video for Storybrook that they are calling the 'Singlebrooke Dating Service'. "Living in a small town like Storybrooke can make it very hard to find your happily ever after. That's why we created Singlebrooke, for people like us to find their fairytale ending. Maybe you can find that charming someone who can bring the magic back into your life." The video is a lot of fun and features many different cast members (including the dalmatian that plays Pongo!). Be sure to read the text that pops up on screen as it changes every time and gets extremely funny. If you were watching this video as a real dating service who would you pick out for your date?

The cast of Star Wars sings Call Me Maybe! [video]

Parodies and covers to Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe have certainly been popping up all over the place. I recently posted a parody by Sesame Street called Share It Maybe in which Cookie Monster is trying to get cookies in a work office. But one fan may have just created the best parody that is out there titled 'Star Wars: Call Me Maybe'. By splicing together clips of video from all six Star Wars films, this video recreates the entire Call Me Maybe song word for word. It is clear that this took a very long time but the results are extremely funny and very well done. Enjoy the cast of Star Wars singing Call Me Maybe!
