Geek version of LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem!

College Humor has come up with a great variation on LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem that is dedicated to geeks. This version, called "Staying in Anthem", speaks to those geeks who love to stay in and surf the web. The song will have you dancing like the original and laughing at the lyrics! "I'm running through these dragons like Baggins!" Nice!

Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in first The Lone Ranger photo!

Jerry Bruckheimer has released the first promotional photo for his upcoming movie, The Lone Ranger. The photo gives us our first glance at both Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in costume. Depp will be portraying the Native American warrior Tonto and Hammer will be suiting up as the masked hero of the story, the Lone Ranger.
"The Lone Ranger is a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice — taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption." This isn't the look I was expecting but the two look pretty good in their wardrobe (even though I don't really see Johnny Depp as a Native American).

Ben Browder to guest star on Doctor Who

According to the UK's Doctor Who Magazine, actor Ben Browder will be guest staring in the upcoming season of the British sci-fi show Doctor Who. Browder is best known for his roles as John Crichton on Farscape and Lieutenant Colonel Cameron Mitchell on Stargate SG-1.

Possible minor spoilers ahead.

It's said that Browder will guest star in the third episode which is being written by Toby Whithouse who in the past wrote the Doctor Who episodes School Reunion, The Vampires of Venice, and The God Complex. The episode will be set in the Wild Wild West and is being shot in Madrid, Spain.

This is definitely exciting news for Sci-Fi fans! It's great to see Ben Browder back on television. He recently had a small role on Chuck which caught many people by surprise and now he has a role on Doctor Who. Hopefully these guest staring roles keep coming and in the future he can get his own show again!

Josh Tank to direct a Venom movie?

Long thought to be a dead project, the news of a Venom movie is back and making its rounds around the net. Rumor now has is that SONY is negotiating with Josh Tank, director of Chronicle, to take the reins of the film.
"A Venom film has been long-gestating at the studio, dating back at least to 2008 and preceding plans for this summer's Marc Webb-Andrew Garfield take on the character. Gary Ross negotiated to direct a Venom film back in 2009 but moved on to other projects, including the upcoming “Hunger Games.”"Could they have finally found their director in Josh Tank? Can SONY pull this project from the mud and make it shine? I surely hope so. I love the character of Venom and would really like to see what they could do with him when he is not jammed into an already crowded movie (Spider-Man 3). It would also be a lot of fun to see if they could tie in Carnage into this franchise!

Are you excited about the possibility of a Venom film? Or does the sour taste of the cha…

Katniss and Cinna spotlighted in new The Hunger Games clip

A second clip has been released for The Hunger Games and it's definitely a good one. This particular clip is not filled with action. Instead it is a moment of character interaction which shows a touching moment between Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Cinna (Lenny Kravits) who plays her stylist for the games. Enjoy.

The Hunger Games will be in theaters on March 23rd, 2012.

The ultimate CG battle - Superman vs Hulk

YouTube user mhabjan taken his own personal time and used it to create a fight sequence that comic book fans have wanted to see played out on screen for a long time. Coming out of the DC Universe you have the Man of Steel himself, Superman. Jumping out of the Marvel Universe you have The Hulk. Two iconic heroes whose strength can crush any opposing threat.
So far there are three completed parts to this video. The first part is a simple meeting of the heroes while the next two are they actual battle. In the 9 months since mhabjan completed the first part of the battle animation in The Fight Part 2 has jumped to a whole other level. He promised that the level of animation will continue to progress and from the look of The Fight Part 2, I believe it! The fight is extremely well choreographed and the pairs' abilities are spot on! I'd also like to say how awesome it is to have Christopher Reeves wearing the Superman suit again in this battle!
The Meeting is a simple intro to the…

Terra Nova gets axed but studio looks to other networks

Even though Terra Nova began to post better ratings as the show progressed (ratings at first were quite shakey), FOX has decided that this prehistoric time traveling show should be left in the past.

TV Line has reported that FOX has canceled Terra Nova after just one season. This leaves the fans of the show with a big cliffhanger and the need to know what was really going on out in the badlands.

However, the show is not completely gone yet. The studio is currently looking around at other networks to pick it up for its second season. Will other networks jump on this opportunity or will the heavy budget of the show scare them off?

Assassin's Creed 3 trailer is filled with revolutionary greatness!

The much anticipated trailer for Assassin's Creed 3 has been released and it is amazing! It may just be a CG trailer but it still shows some pretty cool aspects of the game. Watching the assassin run/jump through the trees is definitely a cool sight to see and watching him take down the British Red Coats was awesome. Given that this is shaping up to be an amazing Assassin's Creed game coupled with the fact that it is embedded in American History, I am definitely excited about this game. Seeing George Washington rally the troops on the eve of battle during the American Revolution...I'm there.

Bill and Ted 3 script is finished!

The original Bill and Ted, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, came out in 1989 and the sequel, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, in 1991. Rumors and news of a third film have been circulating for some time but it looks like the third installment may actually happen. While speaking with The Independent, Keanu Reeves revealed that the third movie in the Bill and Ted franchise is ready to become a reality. "Yeah, we have a script," he said. "We're trying to put it together. It's a good script too."

The story of the third movie is said to focus on the famous time travelers as they attempt to write the infamous song that will eventually save the world.

Both stars of the franchise, Reeves and Alex Winter, are set to reprise their roles in the third film. Alex Winter recently tweeted, "Script done? Check. -We love it? Check. -Green light? Working on it!,"

Do you think that the Bill and Ted franchise can make a comeback after all this time?

New trailer for Men In Black 3

Agents K and J are at it again in this new trailer for the upcoming Men In Black 3. The new trailer shows us new aliens, new means of transport, and a very retro MIB headquarters from 1969.

I'm definitely excited to see the franchise come back and am hopeful that the third installment will be much better than the second.
Do you think Men In Black 3 has what it takes to get the awe that the first film had?

Men in Black 3 will be in theaters on May 25, 2012.

Behind the scenes with Halo 4

Master Chief may be out of the hands of Bungie but the new producers at 343 Studios are taking the Halo franchise very seriously. From their new behind-the-scenes video you can see just how committed this company is to fully creating the best Halo experience gamers have seen to date.

This game will have many changes which include multiplayer levels designed specifically for competitive play, a dark and ancient new threat, and the addition of upgradeable skills. 343 Studios are also planning to explore the character of Master Chief in a way that has previously never been done in the games.

Its clear from this video that come this winter, Halo fans are definitely in for a great experience.
