Marvel's Avengers Assemble trailer! [video]

Marvel has just released the trailer for their another new animated series that will air on Disney XD, Avengers Assemble.

I'm not all together sure how I feel about this show just yet. I'm excited for a show based on the Avengers but this looks like it may be a little too aimed at kids. And why are they calling Thor the "Prince" of thunder? I'll give the show a shot though when it airs to see how it is. Take a look at the trailer below and let me know what you think of the show.

Avengers Assemble will premiere on Disney XD, Sunday, May 26th at 11 a.m. ET.

Beer of Thrones - a Game of Thrones beer parody! [video]

Check out this great Game of Thrones parody from the comedy troupe Comediva titled "Beer of Thrones".

It all started out as a normal party until one friend decided to bring a case of Beer of Thrones to the party. Then everything changed. And it'll never be the same again!

The TARDIS is not the only thing that is "bigger on the inside"!

Everyone knows that the Doctor's TARDIS is "bigger on the inside" on the British sci-fi show Doctor Who. However, the Doctor's TARDIS is not the only thing we have seen in movies and shows that has been bigger on the inside. Let's take a look at the various bags and homes that we have seen dating all the way back to 1934!

4 year old girl shows off her extensive Marvel knowledge! [video]

If you call yourself a Marvel super-fan then let me introduce you to Mia Grace. She is 4 years old and will school you in Marvel trivia! Don't believe it? Then just watch this video where her dad quizzes her in the care on things like, "What's Captain America's shield made out of?" and "Name some of the stones in the Infinity Gauntlet." I have no doubt that you will be deeply impressed. Let me say again, she is 4!

This video is just adorable and impressive all mixed into one. These parents are definitely doing a great job raising Mia. It's funny to listen to how excited the dad gets when Mia answers some of the questions. Like how she knew about the Soul Stone in the Infinity Gauntlet at the 2:12 mark.

Fun art shows the young Avengers playing a Thanos arcade game!

Check out this fun piece of art from artist Skottie Young that will serve as a variant cover for Infinity #1. Young's art style is a lot of fun and definitely a refreshing take on the characters. This piece of art features the Avengers team as young kids watching Captain America play an old school Thanos arcade game while yelling instructions at him. Fantastic!

Andrew Garfield takes a break from filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to play basketball with fans as Spider-Man! [video]

Spider-Man is possibly my favorite superhero out there and if I could have met him as a child I would have been through the roof. Recently two students outside P.S. 1 in New York City not only got to meet Spider-Man but had the chance to play some basketball with him! That's right! On May 18th Andrew Garfield took a break from the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and walked over to a basketball court to shoot some hoops with two young boys (which I am sure is something that those boys will never forget!). What made this all the better is that Andrew was wearing the new Spidey suit the whole time and kept his mask on which really made it Spider-Man playing on that court. As Garfield walks back towards the set you can see Emma Stone walking back to set as well walking the dog.

It is truly amazing to see a video like this. This was just Garfield having some fun and hanging out with some fans. From everything that I have seen, he seems like such a down to earth guy and seems to be havin…

Star Trek theme performed by the Harp Twins! [video]

The Harp Twins have done it again! They have just released another great music video of them playing their electric harps and this time they have boldly gone where no harpist has gone before! In this video Camille & Kennerly wear command gold Starfleet uniforms as they perform an original arrangement that connects the themes of the original Star Trek and The Next Generation.

The great thing about the Harp Twin's videos is that they always dress appropriately for the song they are playing (whether a regular outfit that reflects the music or a cosplay for a specific show or movie) and they always shoot on great locations that also reflect the song. Cannot wait to see what they come up with next!

Full length trailer released for Batman: Arkham Origins! [video]

WB Games Montréal has released the full length trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins and I am blown away from what I have seen. After watching the teaser trailer for the game I had said that it looked better than the current Batman movies that are out and after watching this trailer I can definitely say that I stand by that thought. This trailer gives us a look at the full fight sequence between Batman and Deathstroke and it is unbelievable! The trailer is a bit longer at just under 5 minutes but when you are watching, you'll become so engrossed with the action that you will not realize it is that long. "Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early caree…

Dan Aykroyd talks about the plot to Ghostbusters 3! [video]

Dan Aykroyd was a guest on Larry King Now and answered a few questions about the upcoming Ghostbusters 3 film!

As to be expected Aykroyd confirmed again that at the moment Bill Murray will not be involved in the film. But he does make a special note to say that if at any time Murray has a change of heart that they can fit him into the film in some way without question. The really cool part is that in the interview, Aykroyd reveals some information about the plot of Ghostbusters 3.
"We’re going to have to cast. We need four new ghostbusters. We need four new Columbia students. It’s based upon new research that’s being done in particle physics by the young men and women at Columbia University. Basically there’s research being done that…I can say that the world or our dimension that we live in, our four planes of existence, length, height, width, and time, become threatened by some of the research that is being done. And ghostbusters, new ghostbusters have to come and some the proble…

First photo of Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique in X-Men: Days of Future Past!

Bryan Singer tweeted a new photo from the set of X-Men: Days of Future Past and this time it gives us our first look at Jennifer Lawrence reprising her role as Mystique. This photo definitely delivers a feel of a younger Mystique that we saw in the earlier X-Men films where she was played by Rebecca Romijn.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will hit theaters on July 18, 2014.

The Wolverine releases a new trailer complete with Jean Grey and the Silver Samurai! [video]

The latest trailer for The Wolverine gives fans some new footage but most noticeably has the addition of Jean Grey and the Silver Samurai!

Every time a new trailer comes out for this film I get more excited. This film looks like it'll have a darker tone while still having those great Wolverine moments that I love. The epic fight scenes, the cocky one liners, and of course the all around badass feeling that Wolverine always has. Who else is excited?

The Wolverine will be in theaters on July 26, 2013.

Patton Oswalt's Star Wars Episode VII pitch idea gets animated! [video]

Recently Patton Oswalt appeared on the set of Parks and Recreation and gave an amazing pitch idea for pitch idea for Star Wars Episode VII that would cross over many different film franchises from Star Wars, to the Marvel Universe, to The Wrath of the Titans. Soon after artist Jef Castro created an amazing movie poster for the "proposed" film. Now one fan has taken it a step further and animated the pitch idea (with the original audio in the background) and the result is fantastic! Oswalt's pitch was great but now being able to watch it as well is just a lot of fun!

Steven Moffat thanks fans and releases video of Matt Smith and David Tennant talking about the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary! [video]

The BBC had messed up in a big way right before the Doctor Who season 7 finale by releasing copies of the season on Blu-Ray to fans in the United States. The BBC and Steven Moffat, showrunner for Doctor Who, begged fans not to spoil the finale. The fans heard the pleas and didn't spoil anything and for that Steven Moffat has some kind words to those fans.
“Well that was all a bit Keystone Cops, wasn't it? Our biggest surprise, our most secret episode, a revelation about the Doctor that changes everything ... ... and we'd have got away with it too, if we hadn't accidentally sent Blu-ray copies of Name Of The Doctor to 210 Doctor Who fans in America. Security-wise, that's not GOOD, is it? I mean, it's not top-notch; it's hard to defend as professional-level, hard-line secrecy. My favourite fact is that they're Blu-Rays. Listen, we don't just leak any old rubbish, we leak in high-def – 1080p or nothing, that's us. Every last pixel in beautifully render…

Disney and Lucas Film announces the next Star Wars animated show - Star Wars Rebels! [video]

Fans were crushed when Disney axed the animated Star Wars: Clones Wars series. However, it seems that they won't have to wait too long before they get a new series. Disney and Lucas Film are already in development for a new series titled Star Wars Rebels.
The new show will debut on the Disney XD channel in the fall of 2014. What's more exciting is that this new series will bridge the gap between Episodes III and Episode IV. "The action-filled series is set between the events of Episode III and IV -- an era spanning almost two decades never-before explored on-screen. Star Wars Rebels takes place in a time where the Empire is securing its grip on the galaxy and hunting down the last of the Jedi Knights as a fledgling rebellion against the Empire is taking shape. Details about the show are a closely guarded secret at this point."  This sounds like it will be incredibly fun to watch. Below you can watch an interview about the upcoming series with Dave Filoni (Star Wars: Clo…

LEGO Voldemort goes wand shopping! [video]

Brotherhood Workshop has released another great LEGO short and this time it features Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter franchise. "Lord Voldemort is seeking the Elder Wand, and what better place to look than Ollivander's wand shop? Unfortunately for the Dark Lord, many other wizards go shopping at Ollivander's too. And some are more powerful even than Voldemort.

How many dwarves from the Hobbit are shopping in Diagon Alley? And which ones are they?" What mysterious wizard will pop into Ollivander's as Voldemort is "shopping"?
I really love the LEGO videos that these guys put out. They are absolutely hilarious! Great job!
