Take a look at Wolverine's scary class syllabus for "Advanced Field Survival" at The Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters!

We know that the X-Men taught different classes at The Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters but one artist drew up the syllabus for Professor Logan's (aka Wolverine) class and it is absolutely hilarious. It appears that Logan is teaching "Advanced Field Survival" and the lessons that he has prepared for his class seem to have caught the attention of Professor Xavier. Week 3's class (along with Professor Xavier's comment in especially funny.)

Watch the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past try to name various X-Men comic characters. [video]

Marvel's X-Men comics have a deep catalog of characters and the films have only touched upon a small group of them. Some of those characters have become iconic in the film franchise but what about the characters that have not made it to the big screen? Can fans recognize characters such as Cannonball, Northstar, or Forge by looking at a picture of them? How about the actors from the films. Could they name a set of X-Men by looking at a photograph? That's just what Blastr wanted to find out when they had the cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past play "Name That X-Man". Watch as Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Ellen Page, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Peter Dinklage test their X-Men knowledge and create some great jokes along the way.

The Green Ranger summons his Dragonzord in this awesome art piece!

When I was younger I really enjoyed watching the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and when the Green Ranger summoned the Dragonzord you knew things were about to get real. It was always an exciting moment in any episode and you always got excited when you heard the summoning song played on the Green Ranger's dagger. In honor of how great the Green Ranger was artist "Quirkilicious" has drawn up this great art piece that features the Green Ranger and his Dragonzord. The style and coloring in this piece of extremely well done. The Green Ranger has more of a anime style look here and it really works. Well done, Quirkilicious.

Godzilla's Gareth Edwards signs on to direct one of the Star Wars spin offs!

Disney and Lucasfilm have been discussing their plans for Star Wars spin off films for a while but the newest announcement for the films is definitely the biggest. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) has been signed on to direct one of the spin off films! So far there is no word on what the film will be about. Recent news has told us that three films are in works that will feature possible origin stories for Han Solo, Yoda, and Boba Fett.

Are you excited to see that Gareth Edwards will be directing one of the Star Wars spin offs? Which out of the three spin offs do you think Edwards would be better suited for?

DC animated shows fight for their lives in this amazing DC / Uncanny X-Men: Days of Future Past mash-up art!

In honor of X-Men: Days of Future Past being released in theaters this weekend I wanted to share this amazing piece of art. From artist Xum Yukinori, this Marvel/DC mash-up art brings together the classic The Uncanny X-Men #141 (January 1981) with some recent DC animated shows.

The art is inspired by The Uncanny X-Men cover and features Green Lantern and Artemis standing in the alley way with the posters of canceled DC shows behind them. To make things even better, there are glued signs on the DC shows stating the reason that they were canceled and the reasons are quite funny. For example, you'll Batman: The Animated Series that was "Too Smart", Superman: The Animated Series that was "Not Batman", and Justice League Unlimited that "Missed Target Demographic".

RBS' Cosplay Closet - Kylie Griffin from Extreme Ghostbusters!

You often come across some fantastic Ghostbusters cosplays at conventions but rarely do you see anyone cosplaying from the follow-up show Extreme Ghostbusters. That has changed with cosplayer Amanda M. Knox who has brought the character of Kylie Griffin to life.

Extreme Ghostbusters was the animated follow-up to The Real Ghostbusters. The series aired in 1997 and featured a team of younger college-level Ghostbusters who were the "next generation" of the team that were led by veteran Ghostbuster Egon Spengler. The series had a single season and 40 episodes. (Can you believe that cartoon seasons used to be that long? Those were the days.) The character of Kylie Griffin was voiced by Tara Strong but she was credited as Tara Charendoff.

Amanda Knox did a great job with this cosplay and it's a breath of fresh air to see a new character from the Ghostbusters franchise be cosplayed. Wonderful work!

Art piece shows that the Nintendo Avengers are ready to protect Earth!

The Avengers have been around for many years but thanks to the 2012 smash hit film, the team is now a staple of pop culture. Artist Derek Turner has taken these new icons and created a brilliant art piece that crosses the Avengers with iconic Nintendo characters. Let me introduce you to the "Nintendo Avengers".

Nintendo Avengers:
Captain America = Mario
Iron Man = Samus Aran (Metroid)
Black Widow = Princess Peach (or Princess Daisy) (Super Mario Bros.)
Hulk = Donkey Kong
Hawkeye = Link (The Legend of Zelda)
Thor =  Kirby

This is one game that I would love to play. And certainly an art series that I would love to see more of. I hope that Turner does a few more images in the future of this team.

Doctor Who Season 8 teaser trailer released! [video]

The BBC surprised fans with the first official teaser trailer for Doctor Who's 8th Season today! Season 8 will star Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor and Jenna Colemanas Clara Oswald. The new season for the show is set to air this August.

Be warned that this is a true teaser trailer. It's short and doesn't show much. But after watching you'll really want to know what you just saw. (Bet you'll watch it again too.) Enjoy!

In my opinion, this was a little too brief to even be a teaser. The BBC could have had the same impact by releasing this as a photograph.

Edgar Wright no longer attached to Marvel's Ant-Man. New director already found.

In a surprise move, it appears that Edgar Wright is no longer going to be directing the upcoming Marvel Ant-Man film. It is being reported that "due to differences  in their vision of the film" Wright and Marvel Studios have officially parted ways.

In what may be even more surprising news, Marvel has already chosen Wright's replacement who will direct the film. At the moment no name has been given but it seems very quick to have found a replacement. Perhaps Marvel had seen this move coming and covered their bases just in case. Considering that Wright was hired for Ant-Man back in 2006 it is very surprising that he would walk away from the film after years of hard work to get the film going.

Marvel wants to assure fans that the change in director will not change the release date set for Ant-Man for July 17, 2015.

Disney releases the "Girl Meets World" theme song and intro! [video]

The Girl Meets World premiere is fast approaching on June 27, 2014 at 9:45 PM EST (still think that is an odd time slot for an American show) on the Disney Channel! As a treat, Disney has released the show's opening intro and theme song for fans to watch and listen to. The song is titled "Take On The World" and has a different feel to it than the show's parent show Boy Meets World. I've included a few videos for you to enjoy. Below you can watch the opening intro to Girl Meets World, the full version of the song "Take On The World", and a super cut of all the show intros for Boy Meets World. The original intro had a fun song to it that was young and playful that fit the age of the cast but my personal favorite was the theme from Seasons 5-7 when the cast was in college and the song had lyrics. I always used to sing and hum along. It was such a great show. Enjoy the videos and be sure to check out Girl Meets World on June 27, 2014 on Disney!

Ghostbusters outtakes reveal alternate names for the film! [video]

A new video has found its way to the internet that has outtakes from the Ghostbusters film! The fascinating thing about this video is that is features outtakes from the commercial that the team shot in the film to promote their new business and it shows fans two alternate names that the film almost had! Shooting this commercial with the alternate names shows that they were still debating what to call the film even during filming. The two alternate titled revealed here are "Ghostblasters" and "Ghoststoppers". I'm really glad that they settled on "Ghostbusters" as it just has a better ring to it than "blasters" or "stoppers". Do you prefer one of the alternate titles over the one that was used or are you happy that they stuck with the now iconic name "Ghostbusters"?

Newly discovered dinosaur could be the largest animal to ever walk the Earth!

A very exciting announcement was made today that not only was a new species of dinosaur discovered but scientists believe that it could be the largest known animal to ever walk the Earth.
