New Star Wars Episode VII villain is revealed!

Another big reveal has surfaced for the upcoming film Star Wars: Episode VII and this time it focuses on the possible villain for the film!

A new piece of concept art has surfaced that is said to be the new villain of the next Star Wars film, the Sith Inquisitor! In the art piece you'll also notice that the Sith Inquisitor is holding the cracked helmet of Darth Vader. Very interesting! I wonder if that will somehow play out in the film. The Sith Inquisitor is being described as:
"It’s true that the main villain of Episode VII is a Sith Inquisitor. He’s tall and thin and terrifyingly creepy, with glowing red eyes to match his red lightsaber. He’s got some robotic upgrades, like Vader – but no mask. The cybernetic bits weave in and out of him. He’s got a human upper lip, a steel jaw… and the robotic hand that JJ Abrams posted an image of. As LR mentioned, we’ll see flashbacks in this movie which will show us Princess Leia as a young girl and Vader’s invol…

New photo from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 shows Jennifer Lawrence in her new warrior outfit as Katniss Everdeen.

Katniss Everdeen is sporting her new Mockingjay look in the newest photo to be released from the upcoming film The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. This new look for Katniss, played by actress Jennifer Lawrence, is her warrior look and as you can see her iconic mockingjay pin has been changed from gold to black (seen on the strap along her left shoulder). I have to say that I really like this look for Katniss. Do you like Katniss' "Mockingjay" look? Are you excited for the next film?

Stormtrooper helmet designs for Star Wars Episode VII are revealed!

Images have been found that show off the new look for stormtroopers in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode VII. It appears as though more than just the X-Wing was inspired by the concept art of Ralph McQuarrie for the upcoming film and that is not a bad thing.

The first image shown is the standard stormtrooper helmet that feels like its had a natural evolution. I really like the clean and sleek look of this helmet a lot and there are a few differences to the older helmets. The eye lenses are separate like they were in the original films although they look like they may be a little larger. A black frame around the lenses give it a look of a single lens. In this photo we see a breather vent on the left side but there is no breather vent on the right side of the helmet. The black mouth area near the bottom is a mesh material, most likely so that the actors can breath easily while wearing the helmet.

The second photo is a helmet for a trooper currently being referred to as the "Jungl…

Check out this recut trailer for 1984 film The NeverEnding Story by YouTuber The Unusual Suspect. The new trailer is styled after the newest trailer for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies and really gives the classic film a new feel. Alternate ending to The Walking Dead Season 4 has Rick dropping the F Bomb in the last scene! [video]

Season 4 of AMC's The Walking Dead ended with a completely awesome moment with Rick Grimes as he says, "They're going to feel pretty stupid when they find out … that they're screwing with the wrong people." However, comic fans know that the comic version of this line was a lot more badass and that it dropped the "F Bomb" instead of "screwing". Hearing it in its original version would have really made a statement for the scene.

It's now been revealed that the show did film an alternate ending where Rick says the original comic line and it is perfect! Though I understand that you cannot drop the "F Bomb" on cable it would have made the scene that much cooler and powerful (and I don't normally say that about cursing).

You can watch the alternate ending in the video below. Let me know if you think the scene changes with the added curse.

Hyrule Warriors art book reveals concept art for a "female Link"!

Hyrule Warriors is quickly approaching and a few pages of the Hyrule Warriors artbook as been revealed with some surprising information. The biggest surprise comes from concept art that appears to be for a "female Link" character. At the moment it is not know whether this is purely concept art or if this character made it through to the final form of the game. Rumors are saying that it is the former.

This female Link character has the same overall look as our hero Link with a green tunic (which had a few variations as you can see), high leather boots, and the infamous Link cap. Do you like that the company played with the idea of adding a female Link-type character to the game? Would you want to see this character enter the franchise in some way in the future?

Watch the Star Wars Rebels short “The Machine in the Ghost”! [video]

Star Wars fans can now watch the all new Star Wars Rebels short "The Machine in the Ghost"!
"In “The Machine in the Ghost,” a special Star Wars Rebels short, the rebels’ Ghost starship is under attack by a wave of TIE fighters. Hera pilots the craft, while Kanan tries to blast the Imperials from the Ghost’s gunner. While they do evade and shoot down several TIEs, it’s up to astromech droid Chopper to finish the job – even if he’s reluctant to do so." I can already tell that I am going to love Chopper. He seems just as expressive as R2-D2 if not more so. This show is going to be a lot of fun to watch unfold.

Star Wars Rebels is scheduled to premiere in October 2014 as a one-hour special on the Disney Channel wi the full series airing on Disney XD.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are here to stay! This weekend the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film earned a surprising $65 million dollars in North America. It seems that despite mixed reviews fans were curious enough about the film to go check it out. (I personally enjoy it and you can read my review here.)
