Ben Affleck is cast as the next Batman!

The internet exploded last night (as it does) when the announcement of the next actor to play Batman was made. It was recently announced that in the Man of Steel sequel that Superman and Batman would finally be meeting each other on the big screen. And the actor that they have chosen to be the next Batman for this role is ... Ben Affleck? That's right! Daredevil himself will be suiting up once more. (Alright, Daredevil wasn't completely his fault but he didn't help at all. At all.)

I am not happy about this casting and admit I have made my fair share of jokes and have laughed pretty hard in the last 12 hours (who hasn't). But I'll give Affleck a shot. Depending on the artist drawing the comic Affleck can certainly look the part of Bruce Wayne. I think the big thing that is a concern for me, and many fans out there, is Affleck's acting. Does he have the range and ability to pull off a role as badass as Batman? Affleck has proven himself to be a great filmmaker b…

New image of Spider-Man wearing an alternate symbiote suit from Spider-Man 3 looks spectacular!

Spider-Man 3 may not have been a hit with many Spidey fans out there but there were still some scenes that were done perfectly. Unfortunately, these were few and far between and there were too many changes to Spidey's story (or too much crammed into one movie). One change that ultimately had fans upset with the look of the symbiote suit when it was worn by Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. Instead of going with the classic comic look they instead went for a straight color change of Spider-Man's red and blue suit and just turned it black and gray. This was of course a decision that Director Sam Raimi stuck with and defended. It wasn't the first look that they gave Spidey for his symbiote suit however. It appears that the first look that went into development was a much more faithful to the comics and certainly looked a lot cooler. As fans know though this look was scarped and never made it to screen."Online rumors say it's because the suit was made out of latex and did…

Disney Princess reimagined as medieval warriors!

The Disney Princesses have gotten another reimagining as artist Sadyna has taken Snow White (Snow White and The Seven Dwarves), Ariel (The Little Mermaid), and Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) and transformed them into powerful medieval warriors. The drawings are very well done and the art style is a lot of fun. What do you think these princess' movies would be like if this is how they appeared in the movie? Which princess shown gets your vote for best looking warrior?
