The Deathly Hallows Part 1 Deleted Scenes

A friend brough to my attention that the deleted scenes for Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 have been posted to Youtube. I don't think that these are all the deleted scenes but lets take a look and see what we think. (*Please ignore the spanish subtitles. If a non subtitled version pops up I'll replace it with that.)

Scene 1:
Brilliant scene between Harry and Aunt Petunia that was not in the books but maybe should have been. It shows another side to Petunia that we knew was there somewhere. Fans will love it. Cut it.
Scene 2: Dudley's good-bye scene. A definite fan favorite. A little better in the book because of some added lines. This was probably cut because it felt a little awkward and Dudley as a character just feels 'off' here. It's very odd.
Scene 3:
Ministry elevator extended scene. This scene could go either way. It's a good moment. Unfortunate cut.
Scene 4: Tent scene with a small horcrux explanation. What? We cant have Harry knowin…

Eighth Doctor's New Look For Doctor Who

*This is older news but still worth reporting for those who had not heard it when it originally announced.

Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor on Doctor Who only appeared on screen as the Doctor in the 1996 Fox tv movie. However, his adventures have continued for some time in the Big Finish audio adventures where the Eighth Doctor has flourished. Until now Big Finish has been using production stills from the tv movie for their covers for the Eighth Doctor adventures. This could only go on for so long until there was no more images to use.

Fans will be extremely excited to hear that Doctor Who News Page has reported on the new Eighth Doctor outfit. That's right, his new outfit! During an appearance at the Armageddon Pop Culture Expo in New Zealand, McGann appeared on stage with some of the items for his new look.

This new look has a double-breasted Naval jacket with a courier pouch bag. The article states that the shirt and jeans that McGann was wearing were his own and not part o…

Review - Sucker Punch

Fans eagerly awaited Zach Snyder's Sucker Punch to be released in hopes that it would be a truly epic movie with visuals that would blow their minds. However, they may have listened to critics' reviews and waited to see it as Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules  beat out Sucker Punch at the box office by about 5 million dollars. Is Sucker Punch everything fans have been waiting for or is it a movie to be put onto your "rent" list?
Synder admitted in a recent interview that the movie is titled 'Sucker Punch' for a reason. The story itself gave the movie its name. When you think you have it figured out, the story flips and changes hitting the audience with a sucker punch. Well this couldn't be more true.  Despite how it looks, the story does come together in the end but I couldn't help but feel that I had been cheated out on something that could have been a little better. You walk away from the film not having connected with the characters l…

NBC Changes Wonder Woman's New Look

It looks like NBC took the fans' comments about the new look to Wonder Woman to heart and they have redone a few aspects of the Amazonian's outfit. I must admit that this looks immensely better than the original outfit that I had shown you. Thanks to Splash News we can see several new photos of the outfit during the filming of the pilot episode as well as a small video. I chose the photo to the right because it shows off the whole outfit best. But there are some better close up shots on the source site.

First off, thank you for making her boots red again! Secondly, thank you for making her pants a deeper blue that actually compliments the red top. And getting rid of the vinyl. The stars going down her leg also stand out more now. At least now she looks better than she did before.

Still can't say whether this show will be good or not but the look of Wonder Woman has definitely improved since the last time I reported on it. Thank you, NBC.

New Doctor Who Season 6 Trailer!

The BBC has released this new amazing Doctor Who Season 6 promo trailer!

Fast Thoughts: Aahhh! I cannot wait! Oh man, where to begin with this. The narration in the beginning is chilling. I am loving all the new props.(How can you not love an astronaut helmet!) The Timelord quote is epic and I wonder who is on the other side of that conversation! Sad/Scary clown (complete with red balloon), pirates, new aliens, the truth about River Song, and the Doctor is going to stop running?! And I spotted the 9th and 10th Doctors' TARDIS interior at 0:37 seconds!! WHAT?! Words cannot express my utter joy right now. I am so excited!

The Return of 'X-Men' and 'Deadpool'

Movie Web reported that in the new issue of Empire Magazine there is a great interview with producer Lauren Shuler Donner who had a lot to say about the X-Men franchise as well as the upcoming Deadpool movie.

You can check out the link above or Empire magazine for full details but she talks about how she took the idea to Fox and they loved it and that X-Men 4 will lead into X-Men 5. So we have confirmation that Fox is interested to film two more movies for the original franchise. Hopefully they can figure out a story that works or fixes the fact that Cyclops is dead, Rogue is still not 'Rogue', the Phoenix Saga story is broken, ect. As well as keeping some of the new characters we saw in X3.

She goes on to talk about the Deadpool movie and this whole quote needs to be shared for its greatness. Lauren Shuler Donner states,
"It's a total reboot. We're either going to pretend that X-Men Origins: Wolverine didn't happen, or mock it, which he could do. It's in…

New 'Deathly Hallows' Poster!

Warner Bros. released this new Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 poster on its official Facebook page. What's better than a bloody staredown between the two leaders of this war.

Mr. Bacon's Big Adventure

Bacon is one of those food items that just makes you smile. Probably more than it should. I definitely enjoy eating bacon and my friends know this. I have received many great gifts from the Archie McPhee line. Recently, a good friend of mine gave me the board game Mr. Bacon's Big Adventure. We had played it that night and it is the coolest game ever. It's simple and really fun. It's basically Candyland ... but with meat!

Now if that didn't already win you over the game comes with "Alternate Meat Feast Rules". They provide a short shopping list for these rules and essentially each space on the board requires you to eat the type of meat you landed on. However, if you landed on one of the special areas you have to eat something extra meaty. ie: If you land on 'Meatball Meadows' you have to eat a meatball shish kebab with a peperoni stick skewer. Or if you land on the 'Bacon Slide' you eat a slice of fried bacon. I haven't played the Meat Fea…
