Watch the amazing Guillermo del Toro opening sequence for The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXIV! [video]

The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXIV will soon be hitting the airwaves on FOX but as a sneak peak Animation Domination and FOX have released the opening sequence for this year's Halloween episode and it will blow your mind! It was recently announced that director Guillermo del Toro would be helping out with this year's episode and it is clear that he had a hand in this sequence. Not only does it manage to mix many of del Torro's creations together (some future creations as well) but it throws in both classic Simpsons characters as well as classic horror characters. It is without a doubt one of the best opening sequences that the show has had for Treehouse of Horror.

The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXIV will air on FOX on Sunday, October 6th at 8:00PM ET.

This sounds like an awesome concept and its probably something all convention goers have thought about. I'm excited to see what they can do with this film and cannot wait to see it! Steven Moffat announces which fan favorite Doctor Who villain he is most likely done with!

Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat has just revealed that he may be ready to hang up one of the show's fan favorite villians! So which of the villians may be disappearing for a while? The Weeping Angels! Moffat feels that he may have done all he can with them so he is ready to be done with them. However, he also revealed that if another writer wants a crack at them that they are willing to take a shot. Recently, Moffat had an interview with Nerd3 where he revealed this information.
“I’m probably done to be honest on what you can do with the Weeping Angels. But other writers have to have a go. There’s only so many times you can think, ‘Right, it’s a chase scene and statues’. How many times can the lights flicker? What happens if a moth sees them? Is the alien invasion cancelled at that point?” It seems that even though Moffat may be done with the Weeping Angels, he recently heard a pitch for a story involving them that he really liked.
“It’s not going to happen but a very good Doc…

New Wonder Woman short would be perfect for Hollywood! [video]

Wonder Woman has been getting a lot of attention from fans lately and it is clear that they are looking for a Wonder Woman project to come out of Hollywood in some way, shape, or form. Take a look at this amazing short from director Sam Balcomb from Rainfall Films that gives us a great look at an all new Wonder Woman trailer. It stars Team Unicorn's Rileah Vanderbilt as Wonder Woman and is definitely worth watching! The trailer has a wonderful visual look and style and Wonder Woman's outfit is perfect. The director, Sam Balcomb, had this to say: "Firstly, thanks for watching. Whether you like, or dislike, our live action interpretation of Diana of Themyscira, Wonder Woman, born of clay, I think (quite a few of) you will agree she is a character just as vital and crucial to our understanding of humanity as any other superhero... if not more so. We spent the majority of 2013 working on this -- the look, the feel, the aspects we most wanted to portray. It's a scant two a…

Boba Fett escapes the Sarlaac pit in this epic Star Wars art piece!

Big fans of the bounty hunter Boba Fett from Star Wars like to believe that Fett survived the fall into the Sarlaac pit in the film Return of the Jedi. Artist Livio Ramondelli is a fan who also believes this and as such drew an amazing piece that features the moment after Boba Fett has successfully climbed out of the pit. "Many Star Wars fans feel that Boba Fett couldn't possibly have met his end in the Sarlaac Pit..and I share that sentiment. So, here's my take on how he might have survived- namely by igniting his wrist flamethrower while inside the beast and crawling through the burning ruins. I was trying to capture a sort of shadowy desert sunset feel with the lighting. Screen purists will note a few liberties I've taken here- For example Jabba's Sail barge was blown to smithereens during the fight that would theoretically take place before this moment..but, I really wanted to include the Barge in the background for scale and so there it is. Also technically t…

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dress for their personalities in this great art piece!

Artist Abraham Lopez has created a great new piece that features the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles finding their own personal styles and dressing the part. I think he has captured them pretty well and his art style is great. "I was a pretty big Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan when I was a kid trying to get my hands on anything with that had to do with these guys as frequently as possible. I was incredibly excited for when Burger King gave out VHS tapes of the cartoon instead of a toy. One of the toys I had was a Samurai looking Leonardo which sparked these drawings. The thought of each of them having their own personal look never occurred to me back then, but made perfect sense. A few artists have made their own designs and thought I'd have a go at it myself. Michelangelo- beach bum kinda of attire, Leo- samurai, Raphael- tactical gear for butt kicking and Donatello- modern up to date casual attire." Which Turtle is your favorite and which wins best outfit in this art…
