Steven Moffat announces which fan favorite Doctor Who villain he is most likely done with!

Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat has just revealed that he may be ready to hang up one of the show's fan favorite villians! So which of the villians may be disappearing for a while? The Weeping Angels! Moffat feels that he may have done all he can with them so he is ready to be done with them. However, he also revealed that if another writer wants a crack at them that they are willing to take a shot. Recently, Moffat had an interview with Nerd3 where he revealed this information.
“I’m probably done to be honest on what you can do with the Weeping Angels. But other writers have to have a go. There’s only so many times you can think, ‘Right, it’s a chase scene and statues’. How many times can the lights flicker? What happens if a moth sees them? Is the alien invasion cancelled at that point?”
It seems that even though Moffat may be done with the Weeping Angels, he recently heard a pitch for a story involving them that he really liked.
“It’s not going to happen but a very good Doctor Who writer pitched a great idea for the Weeping Angels the other day and I was very excited about it. “We had a long phone call about it and I went away thinking, ‘That is going to be brilliant!’ And about two days later he admitted he wasn’t going to have time to do it. Hopefully we’ll get to it in the next year.”
How do you feel about Moffat being done with the Weeping Angels? Are you okay with them fading in the background for a while?
