The characters of Destiny hilariously try to argue that their game is not the same as Halo. [video]

Many gamers are saying that the hit hit game Destiny is basically the same thing as Halo just minus the deep story. Watch as the characters from Destiny argue, unsuccessfully, that that assumption couldn't be farther from the truth.
"Destiny is like Halo but with less story and more loot? No way bro!"

The Piano Guys play an amazing Batman theme song medley titled "Batman Evolution"! [video]

Batman has always been one of my favorite superheroes so to see this amazing video from The Piano Guys focus on the music of the Batman era is truly fantastic! The Piano Guys' new video is titled "Batman Evolution" and they play three theme songs from the Batman era; the 1960s television show, the 1989 Tim Burton film, and the new 2005 Dark Night films. As an added bonus, as they play the theme music the corresponding Batmobile is parked beside them which is really cool! Listening to these songs just reminds me why I love Batman.
"Holy hemiola, Batman! 50 years of music and film all rolled together in front of the cars that have become icons of super hero history. This is one of those projects we’ve wanted to do from the very beginning of The Piano Guys. We love super heroes, the dramatic music that has brought them to life, and the vivid films that have made them legends. We used piano, cello, handheld cameras, a radio controlled helicopter, and some scrappy specia…

Harley Quinn and Deadpool go on a "Vacation" style family trip in this epic art piece!

As a part of Comic Book Resources' "The Line Is Drawn" art challenge with the theme "What would their kid look like?", artist Marco D'Alfonso drew this amazing piece that features Harley Quinn, Deadpool, and their kids. The best thing about this piece however is that it was created as a parody to National Lampoon's Vacation and is titled "Irrational Lampoon Vacation". I love the film Vacation and it is funny to see Harley and Deadpool ganging up against Marty Moose here! This looks like a fun family! They even invited Uncle Joker along! (Check out the roof of the car.)

X-Men: Days of Future Past will get an extended "Rogue Cut" adding in all of Rogue's deleted scenes!

X-Men: Days of Future Past was a complete success in every sense of the word for the X-Men franchise. Critics loved it, fans loved, and everyone couldn't stop talking about it. There was one thing however that seemed a little odd about the film and that was that Anna Paquin's Rogue was missing from the film (except a very small cameo).

It was later discovered that although Paquin filmed several different key scenes, everything she shot was left on the cutting room floor. It was said that Rogue's part of this story was cut because of time constraints which is quite unfortunate.

Fans will be excited to find out however that next summer there will be an extended cut, being titled the "Rogue Cut", of X-Men: Days of Future Past released that will feature 10 additional minutes of footage which will include all of Rogue's scenes as well as some others. Writer and producer stated:
"We want to give (fans) the fullest picture of the film — behind the camera, and i…

Harley Quinn Annual #1 will be a "scratch and sniff" comic book!

Well I have to say that this is a little unexpected. It appears as though DC Comics is taking some tips from the 1980s and are going to be releasing a "scratch and sniff" comic book. That's right! This new "scratch and sniff" comic will be released for Harley Quinn.

On October 29, 2014 Harley Quinn Annual #1 will hit store shelves and will feature such smells as leather, pizza, suntan lotion, and a "mysterious compound". However, do to legal reasons, DC Comics will be calling this issue a "rub and smell" issue.

Harley Quinn Annual #1 will feature artists John Timms, Paul Mounts, Stjepan Sejic, Joe Quinones, Ben Caldwell, Rico Renzi, Kelley Jones and Michelle Madsen. That is quite the collection of talent. Here is what writer Jimmy Palmiotti had to say concerning the upcoming book:
"Yeah, the basic story is Poison Ivy has been thrown in Arkham Asylum, and Harley gets word that she's in there and decides that she's going to break h…

First photo of Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse a.k.a. Mockingbird is released for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!

It was recently announced that actress Adrianne Palicki was cast as Bobbi Morse a.k.a. Mockingbird for the second season of the television show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly we now have our first official look at Palicki as Bobbi Morse on the show.

The character's introduction to the show will be in the episode titled "A Hen in the Wolfhouse" on October 21, 2014.

I have to admit that this photo caught me by surprise. In the comics I have always known Bobbi Morse / Mockingbird to be blonde and as Adrianne Palicki has been blonde for many of her previous roles I expected them to go with that. Maybe she goes blonde later in the show? I guess we'll have to tune in to find out.

A brief description of Mockingbird's character background can be seen here.

The university has added a course titled "Media Genres: Media Marvels" and this class will be available in the Sping of 2015 and "will scrutinize the intricately plotted world of Marvel films".

The course will focus on all the Marvel films from Iron Man to Guardians of the Galaxy. The professor of the course, Arnold T. Blumberg, had the following to say about the class:
"One thing we’ll do is dive into the impact of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ film, which proved two things: Mainstream movie audiences are not remotely tired of superhero movies; and Marvel Studios can now release a sci-fi adventure that actually features talking trees and raccoons. It’s not that they’re getting away with it—they’ve created a universe in which fans completely accept these developments, and they’re ready for even more." Thi…

Zelda Jiggle - A Jason Derulo "Wiggle" parody! [video]

Take a look at this great geek parody of Jason Derulo's "Wiggle" titled "Zelda Jiggle" featuring the characters from Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda franchise. The song and parody lyrics are very clever and YouTuber K-Face Rules did an amazing job with the video. The cosplays worn in the video are very good as well. I don't know if it was intentional or not but see if you can catch the subtle Harry Potter reference in this video as well as the obvious Pokemon reference. Enjoy!

Captain America: The Winter Solider is regarded by many as the best Marvel film that has been released to date. Even though the film was a smash hit Cinema Sins was not pleased with it and found an insane amount of sins.

Aquaman's look is described for Batman v Superman and his connection to Man of Steel is revealed!

The Schmoes Know podcast "Meet the Press" has apparently picked up some very interesting news concerning Aquaman's connection with the DC Universe that is currently being shaped.

Co-Host Jeff Sneider attended a press luncheon in Toronto and overheard an individual who worked on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice talking about Aquaman. It appears that Aquaman will physically look like a "buff Hawaiian guy covered in tribal tattoos" which fits with the casting of Jason Mamoa. The gentleman continues by stating that what fans did not know is that it was Aquaman who saved Superman's life in Man of Steel after Clark gets thrown into the ocean from the oil rig. In the scene Clark is sinking in the water and sees a pair of whales going by just as his eyes close and slips into a flashback memory. The next thing we see is Clark getting out of the ocean but we are not given an explanation as to how he was saved.

Fans have speculated that the whales could have been s…

It looks like Fox's Deadpool film may be rated PG-13.

Fan exploded with joy when it was announced that Fox would be making the Deadpool film that we have all been waiting for. The release date has been set by Fox for February 12, 2016 and that date would not come soon enough! However, it seems that in order to make the certain things had to be done.

It appears that the Deadpool film got the green light because the script was rewritten to accommodate a PG-13 rating. The news comes from the "Meet the Movie Press" podcast which is always a fun podcast to watch and listen to. Everyone should check it out. I've included the podcast at the bottom of this article and the Deadpool news can be found at the 22 minute mark.
"I heard from the director that they finally figured out the script, and it was right before this was announced, that they figured out, and you guys are all gonna hate this, they figured out how to make it PG-13. And therefore 'not lose its soul,' and that' a quote, of the script so that they can m…
