Aquaman's look is described for Batman v Superman and his connection to Man of Steel is revealed!

The Schmoes Know podcast "Meet the Press" has apparently picked up some very interesting news concerning Aquaman's connection with the DC Universe that is currently being shaped.

Co-Host Jeff Sneider attended a press luncheon in Toronto and overheard an individual who worked on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice talking about Aquaman. It appears that Aquaman will physically look like a "buff Hawaiian guy covered in tribal tattoos" which fits with the casting of Jason Mamoa. The gentleman continues by stating that what fans did not know is that it was Aquaman who saved Superman's life in Man of Steel after Clark gets thrown into the ocean from the oil rig. In the scene Clark is sinking in the water and sees a pair of whales going by just as his eyes close and slips into a flashback memory. The next thing we see is Clark getting out of the ocean but we are not given an explanation as to how he was saved.

Fans have speculated that the whales could have been sent by Aquaman to save Clark and it appears that those speculations may be true. This news can be heard in the last "Meet the Movie Press" podcast which can be watched below at the 30 minute mark.

How do you feel about the possibility that it could have been Aquaman who saved Clark in Man of Steel?
