Beautiful and fun art piece for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker!

This piece of art that features Link and The King of Red Lions from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker will certainly excite fans of the Zelda franchise. It is beautifully drawn and uses bright, vibrant colors just like the game did. But most of all the playful nature of the picture, with Link feeding the birds, definitely captures the leisure and fun of the ocean exploration in the game. This is a really fun piece and I love it.

Fantastic Batman short - Batman: Chapter One - Help Me!! [video]

Take a look at this cool Batman short written and directed by Isaak Fernandez. It is titled Batman: Chapter One - Help Me!! The artistic style used for this short is a lot of fun and you can definitely get a sense of Fernandez's influences from the earlier Batman films. "This is my first animated short film based on the Batman character. It took me three years to complete it during my spare time after work, weekends and holidays with only the help of my friend Javier Esteban to get the lighting in some shots. I could say that it was one of the best experiences ever. I always have been a huge Batman fan and I could say that this is my personal tribute to him and his world. My main references and inspiration came from Bruce Timm's "Batman The Animated Series" to the very last Chris Nolan's version "Batman Begins" through the amazing Tim Burton's "Batman" and "Batman Returns"."

Game of Thrones intro recreated for a 90's look! [video]

With the fast approaching third season of Games of Thrones fans are really getting excited. While you are waiting for the season to begin take a look at this Game ofThrones intro re-edited so that it looks like it was a show in the 90's! The creators have done a fantastic job here! I am also really impressed with the "aging" effects that they put on this video. It looks like I just turned on an old, worn VHS tape! Nice work! "Following in the footsteps of Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Game of Thrones originally aired on HBO in 1995. It was cancelled. All that remains is the intro. Enjoy!" Enjoy!

Disney releases this year's Star Wars Weekends logo!

Disney World has released this years Star Wars Weekends logo and it features a determined Mickey along with our favorite chipmunks, Chip and Dale.  "One of Mickey Mouse’s favorite things about “Star Wars” Weekends is that he gets to dress in his Jedi best and join the galactic fun. Each year, Mickey seems to take on a different role in the official “Star Wars” Weekends logo. This year, his imagination takes him to the Forest Moon of Endor, where he is seen zipping away from scout troopers with Chip and Dale. Mickey’s wild speeder bike ride on this year’s artwork has historical significance, as 2013 marks the 30th anniversary of “Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi” — the film that featured the Battle of Endor." So far Disney has announced that actors Ray Park (Darth Maul) and Warwick Davis (Wicket W. Warrick) will be two of the special guests for the events. Park will be at the park on Weekends I and II while Davis will make his appearance on Weekends II and III.

Batman takes over some of your favorite movies! [video]

Christian Bale's Batman has been the butt of a lot of jokes because of the way in which he tries to "disguise" his voice, but this video is among the funniest that I have come across. Some of the movies include; Harry Potter and The Sourceror's Stone, Home Alone, The Wizard of Oz, Star Wars - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Dirty Dancing, and more! I laughed throughout this entire video. I hope you find it just as funny!

School of Thrones web series warns us that Prom Night is coming! [video]

A new parody web series has just popped up that will show us what happens when you mix the much loved Game of Thrones book/television series with the drama of high school titled "School of Thrones".

The first episode has gone up online and is a quick fun watch at just 5 minutes. It shows us Dany Targaryen on her first day at Westeros Valley High as she is introduced to the different "cliques" of the school. However, she learns quickly that she must be careful at this new school. "Prom Night is coming..."

Watch and enjoy this first episode and let me know what you thought of it. Though some of the jokes were (intentionally?) corny, I thought it was pretty funny and the opening sequence animation was amazing. The next episode will be releases on March 17th.
