Long lost "Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back" documentary now longer with amazing footage!

A few months ago a short video had surfaced that featured behind the scenes footage from Star Wars - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. This footage, fifilmmaker Michel Parbot, had a lot of interviews with the cast and crew as well as behind the scenes footage. Until now most of this footage has remained unseen but now a longer (26 minutes), clearer version of the video has surfaced and there is some truly amazing footage in it.

StarWars fans will absolutely love this video and it will truly make them feel nostalgic. "Excerpts from the lost 1980 Michel Parbot documentary. It's basically a better quality version of the footage from the Dutch Broadcast combined with the clips I released in 2007. All in the correct order with the main and end titles to make a coherent whole."

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - Fi's Theme (vocal remix)! [video]

Laura Shigihara took her love of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword one step further with the creation of this beautiful video. In it, she sings her own remixed version of "Fi's Lament" that is stunningly beautiful. Laura's amazing voice and great piano skills make this a must watch for all Zelda fans! "Hi everyone! I was really excited to create a video for Fi's Theme (technically, my remix is based off of "Fi's Lament," the softer version you hear towards the end of the game) because it's probably my favorite musical theme from all of the Zelda series. I wrote the lyrics in a mix of pseudo-Hylian and Ciroan (the latter is a language from the game I'm developing). Oh, and I didn't include video of all the different vocal layers because it would have crashed my computer :P Anyways, I really hope you enjoy ^___^" Enjoy!

The Avengers: Unhulked [video]

On the surface the Hulk has one job with the Avengers. Smash! But what would happen if for some reason Bruce Banner lost his ability to "Hulk out" and become the enormous green rage monster that he is known for? Would the Avengers keep him around? Find out in this great short video from "Official Comedy" that explores just this idea. "You wouldn't like him when he's angry... because it's kind of pathetic." Enjoy!

Concept trailer for Wonder Woman looks fantastic! [video]

Recently there have been several attempts at creating a live action Wonder Woman media. Whether it be a television show or movie, they have been close and then scrapped at the last second. It just seems that Wonder Woman is doomed to never get the recognition she deserves these days.

However, one person has taken it upon himself to create a great concept trailer for Wonder Woman. Jesse V. Johnson, stunt man turned director, has created a trailer that stars actress Nina Bergman as the title character and came out great. Johnson stated, "It was my manager/producing partner Kailey Marsh’s idea to shoot the trailer.  He really believes I should be a studio director, and thought shooting Wonder Woman would be a great way to show off my skills in a fun way that people could get excited about." Take a look at the trailer and let me know what you think. Would you be interested to see this take on Wonder Woman become a reality? Would you be interested in Wonder Woman heading to the sm…

New trailer for Disney's Planes hit the web! [video]

It appears that Disney has decided to go through with the Cars spinoff Planes but this time without Pixar. Planes is being produced by DisneyToons Studios. This spinoff seems like it will be geared more towards younger kids but it's still pretty cool to see these new ideas pumped out. Although, if a movie called "Boats" comes out I am drawing the line. Movie synopsis: "From high above the world of “Cars,” flies “Planes,” Disney’s upcoming animated action-packed comedic adventure starring Dusty, a big-hearted, fast-flying crop duster who dreams of competing in the most exhilarating around-the-world air race in history. There’s only a couple of not-so-small problems – Dusty is not exactly built for racing and he also happens to be afraid of heights. Despite his fear and with encouragement from his mentor, a naval aviator named Skipper, Dusty narrowly qualifies for the big competition. Dusty’s sportsmanship and speed begin to rattle the defending champ of the race cir…

Louise Jameson (Leela) hints that classic Doctors and companions could return for Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary!

With the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who quickly approaching, fans have been wondering if they will see any classic Doctors or companions pop up. Until now all fans could do is guess if the BBC was planning to bring some back or not.

However, one classic companion has made a comment on twitter that gives some hope to the return of classic characters. Louise Jameson, who played the 4th Doctor's (Tom Baker) companion Leela, has reached out to one fan who expressed their desire to see a past Doctor. The fan had tweeted, "If the #DoctorWho 50th special(s) doesn’t feature at least one past Doctor I think I’ll genuinely cry." To this Jameson replied, "None of us knows yet what’s going on, just told to keep the days free. Mmmmmmmmm intriguing."

This of course is not a guarantee that she or any past Doctor's will be returning but it at least shows us that the BBC has reached out to them as a possibility. I would love to see Jameson reprise her role as Leela or even m…

First Person Mario: Endgame! [video]

Wow! Take a look at this amazing first person run through of Super Mario Bros. 3 that was created with some stunning computer graphics. The style of the video is set to look like that of Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. While the video can be a little confusing from a first person point of view, the creator, FreddieW, has put a small screen in the top left corner to show you what is happening from the side scrolling perspective as though you were playing the game. Nice touch! At just over 2 minutes long, this video is a lot of fun! Enjoy!

NYC set photos from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 show off the new Spidey suit and Mary Jane Watson!

Spider-Man fans have a lot to get excited about this week. Yesterday morning, SONY released the first official image of the new Spider-Man suit that would be used in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and then later in the same day, Andrew Garfield and crew hit the streets of New York City to start filming.

Fans and photographers alike were able to see the new Spidey suit first hand and if they were alert enough they could have even spotted actress Shailene Woodley walking around the set as the new Mary Jane Watson. Woodley takes over the role that was previously played by Kirsten Dunst in the original Sam Raimi trilogy.

Take a look at more set photos from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 along with our first look at Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson inside the full article!

The Big Whobowski - The Big Lebowski trailer shot for shot with Doctor Who cosplayers! [video]

Bob Mitsch and company share a love of Doctor Who and The Big Lebowski so much that they decided to reshoot the classic The Big Lebowski trailer shot for shot in their Doctor Who cosplays and the results are great.

These Doctor Who cosplayers are known for their funny videos and you really have to give them credit for creating this video. In my personal opinion, not because it is overly fantastic but simply because it actually is shot for shot with the original trailer. Great work, guys!

A side by side comparison to the actual The Big Lebowski trailer.

Marvel takes a shot at DC's New 52 with its new teaser poster!

News of Marvel Comics' Marvel #1 has been teasing fans but the newest poster that Marvel has released brings it to a whole new level. While still teasing fans with a possible reboot to the Marvel comics universe, this newest teaser poster takes a well aimed shot at its competitor, DC Comics. The photo shows tally marks that look like they could belong to Wolverine and add up to 52. It came with the following phrase:
Cuts above the rest..."It seems clear that this is intended to poke at DC's "New 52" but could it actually mean that Marvel will reboot it's universe? Or do you think it can mean something else?

First person lightsaber duel between Darth Vader and a Jedi! [video]

If you have ever wanted to experience a lightsaber duel first hand then the folks over at The Stunt People have created the perfect video for you. They have created a brilliant Star Wars lightsaber duel video shot from the first person point of view. You'll start the video as though you are Darth Vader fighting a Jedi and half way through the camera angle switches so that you become the Jedi fighting Darth Vader. They did a great job on the choreography and I cannot wait until they release the second video which they say they are working on.

Take a look and May the Force be with you!

Orcs and Goblins of Middle Earth present The LEGO Harlem Shake! [video]

I am not a big fan of the whole "Harlem Shake" craze going on right now but I laughed when I watch the Brotherhood Workshop's newest LEGO video that features the goblins and orcs of The Hobbit doing their own rendition of the video.
"The Orcs were surfing the internet on their coffee break and noticed the popularity of the Harlem Shake videos. And this is what they decided to do. Sigh....not even orcs are safe from the Harlem virus." To make things more interesting, Brotherhood Workshop also added:
"How many Star Wars characters can you spot in this video? And, an even harder question, how many of them are just orcs wearing Star Wars helmets?" Enjoy! And how many Star Wars characters can you find?

First image of the new Spider-Man suit in The Amazing Spider-Man 2!

Fans have been aware that director Marc Webb was looking to change the Spider-Man suit for the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man but until now they had only theories on what it might look like. Well today Marc Webb released a photo of the new Spidey suit and fans were very surprised with what they saw. Take a look at the new suit below.

The redesign to the suit has an "Ultimates" and "Sam Raimi" feel to it that I am really enjoying! The first thing that shouts out to fans is the throwback look to the suit that Sam Raimi used in the original Spider-Man films staring Tobey Maguire. I suppose that Webb realized that in terms of the classic suit, Raimi did an incredible job and that he could blend the two suits to make the one you see above. The second thing you'll notice is the larger eyes on the suit which have an "Ultimate Spider-Man" look to them from the comics. I must say that I love the larger eyes. To me, it gives it a much cooler "Spider-Man&…

Bag End Bonsai Tree landscape!

Chris Guise has created something that bonsai tree and Tolkien fans will both love tremendously. With detail that will make your jaw drop, Guise has created a breath-taking bonsai tree set up that looks like Bag End from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings novels and movies. In his article, Guise walks you through the creation process and provides pictures of each step. He even provides a great photo of the set up in a winter setting (complete with a snowman!). "A large hill (The Hill) lay to the north, and under its southern slopes Bilbo's father Bungo built the luxurious smial Bag End above the lane of Bagshot Row. This is the home of Bilbo Baggins, Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee, where both The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings begin and end." The described scenery was more than enough inspiration for Chris to recreate it in miniature, with a stunning Bonsai as result. This article describes how this landscape was created." This is simply stunning and I'd …
