Doctor Who: Space & Time

Many Doctor Who fans will be familiar with the British telethon event Children in Need because Doctor Who always creates something special, whether a minisode or a sneak peak of a future episode, to air during the broadcast. Yesterday, Doctor Who teamed up with another big British telethon event, Comic Relief's Red Nose Day, to give us another great minisode of Doctor Who. Red Nose Day is raising money to help poor and vulnerable people across the UK and Africa. You can get more information on Red Nose Day at there main website.

Written by Steven Moffat this two part minisode, entitled "Space" and "Time", shows us another space time continuum endangering occurrence that goes hand in hand with being on the TARDIS. Watching this minisode does not spoil anything for the show so watch and enjoy!

The New Wonder Woman!

Thanks to The Source we now have our first glimpse at Adrianne Palicki in full costume for the upcoming NBC pilot for "Wonder Woman".

It's not actually all that bad. Although I wouldn't say I am crazy about it either. It looks to be a little too shiny since it's latex but things could have been worse. It feels like they were trying to mix the classic look with the new modern look and if so they succeeded. But I think I would have gone with a little bit of a darker blue for the pants. But hey, it's still hot.

They could have had her running around in her blue underwear with white stars (and I'm sure male viewers wouldn't have minded) but that would have looked ridiculous. I also get a mental image of Adrianne running around on set about to get into some epic fight scene and all you hear is 'squeek squeek squeek' from the latex. But from this photo one thing that just feels weird for me is Adrianne Palicki as a brunette. It just feels off not se…

The Deathly Hallows Part 2 - ABC Family Sneak Peak

ABC Family aired a sneak peak of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 tonight during the showing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Was this the much anticipated sneak peak that Harry Potter fanatics have been waiting for or a reshowing of things they had seen in the past? Take a look and find out.

My Thoughts:
Without saying specific details, to not spoiler anything if you didn't watch, I feel that there are some specific points in here that you could screen cap for an amazing photo filled with intense emotion but as a whole the sneak peak is filled with footage that we've seen in the first combined Part 1 & 2 trailer with very quick glimpses of something new. Exciting to watch, but disappointed. Cannot wait for an epic full length trailer!!

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Reenact Star Wars

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Hott Fuzz, Spaced, ect) have reenacted the famous scene between R2D2 and C-3PO arguing on Tatooine. Posted on CollegeHumor this short video was taken during the filming of their new movie Paul and is hilarious. Nick Frost's take on R2 will make any fan proud and the bickering between him and Simon is dead on with R2 and 3PO. Enjoy!

Catrin Stewart cast as "Jenny" in Doctor Who

Catrin Stewart, a relatively new up and coming actress, has been cast in Season 6, Episode 7 of Doctor Who which is the mid-season finale this spring. The interesting thing is that she has been cast as "Jenny".

This is not labeled as a spoiler because all that is confirmed is a character name. Everything past that is my own personal speculation. Read further at own risk.

It has not been confirmed but this could be the much anticipated return of Jenny, the Doctor's daughter from Season 4. Georgina Moffet, the actress who played Jenny in "The Doctor's Daughter", is due to give birth very soon so this could be a recasting due to her not being available or a regeneration for the character who was technically a Timelord.

At the end of "The Doctor's Daughter" Jenny is shot and thought to be killed although we see her in the closing moments awaken and run off to experience her own adventures. We know that a Timelord can use the residual regenerat…

The Pokemon Effect

In light of Pokemon Black and White being released I would like to share some hilarious Pokemon inspired comic strips. The two that I present have been making their rounds around the net and they deserve to be. One is created by Penny Arcade and one is created by Awkward Zombie. Awkward Zombie has a lot of great Pokemon comics if you want to check out their archives. Might post some of my favorites in the near future.

And now I must get back to playing Pokemon Black. I can't believe I tore myself away long enough to post this. Forgive me, Zekrom and Reshiram!
