TARDIS Made From Party Balloons

Not a fan of having party balloons at your birthday party? Perhaps this image of the TARDIS, from Doctor Who, made from party balloons will change that.
This is extremely impressive. Would love to meet the clown that put this together!

Barney Stinson's "The Ewok Line"

On the last episode of How I Met Your Mother, Barney Stinson (portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris) shared with the audience one of the best explanations of 'The Great Ewok Divide'. This is of course referring to the small furry race of being from the Star Wars series introduced in Return of the Jedi. 'The Great Ewok Divide' is the separation of people who love the Ewoks from those who can't stand them.

Barney called this The Ewok Line. This showed us that anyone born before May 25, 1973, was old enough when Return of the Jedi was first released to see them as an obvious attempt to please children in a cute and cuddly way and there cannot stand them. Anyone born after that date will love them, as the Ewoks remind them of cute teddy bears.

This is a great explanation of The Great Ewok Divide. However, Barney goes one step further into greatness and creates an entire PowerPoint presentation that takes you through the Ewok culture. You can see the PowerPoint (along with…

'Dragon Age: Redemption' Episode 1

The first part of Felicia Day's Dragon Age: Redemption has been released. At seven minutes this first part introduces us to the setting of Dragon Age and who/what Felicia Day's character, Tallis, is. I must admit that I am incredibly glad to see her portraying a role that is not a "socially awkward geek" like everything else she has recently done. Though we don't get too much character development in this first installment you can see that Felicia shows promise in the roll of an Elven Assassin. However, the one thing that really bugged me throughout the episode was her elf ears. They just don't seem to fit her. Maybe the skin tone of them is too light and that's why they aren't looking real. Whatever the case, I kept laughing at them. The costumes and make-up affects in the rest of the episode seem great and hopefully stay at this level.
The end result is that this first episode does a good enough job to draw viewers back and promises a dark tone to …

'The Avengers' Trailer Hits The Web!

The long awaited trailer for The Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon and starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner, has finally hit the web! I really have to say that it is incredibly fun to see all of these characters together. This is only the first trailer but it definitely gets your attention with its action and humor (mostly from Robert Downey Jr. of course).
The Avengers is set to be released on May 4, 2012

I love the already stated tension between Steve Rogers (Captain America) and Tony Stark (Iron Man). I was also curious to see if we would actually get to see the Hulk. Watch until the very end.
