CG trailer released for the upcoming film adaptation of the video game Heavenly Sword! [video]

Another video game is being turned into a film and this time it's the game Heavenly Sword on Playstation 3! The game is being transformed into a CG film and will star the voices of Anna Torv as Nariko, Alfred Molina as King Bohan, and Thomas Jane as Loki. It is being produced by Blockade Entertainment.

The first CG trailer has been released and it looks pretty cool. There have been other CG films made that look cleaner than this trailer but the creators are saying that, "We stayed true to much of the game story, with some twists mixed in," so the story could save it. The creators also make note that the film was a, "very small independent film, with a limited budget," and "We are wondering if some of the quality isn’t coming across due to the limitations on the video compression here. We are looking at releasing these teasers on PSN to show how much we improved the assets and sets." This could explain the quality. It's really not bad but just not…

I think he'll do an amazing job. After that it is a straight forward interview. Enjoy!

DC Entertainment releases the trailer for Justice League: War! [video]

DC Entertainment has just released the first trailer for the upcoming animated film Justice League: War. I must admit that this looks pretty good. Marvel may be winning the live action film race with DC but DC hands down has been making some solid animated films that have been topping Marvel for a while. Justice League: War is based on Geoff Johns' and Jim Lee's origin story arc in the New 52 Justice League. The story focuses on the members of the Justice League coming together to stop an invasion on the planet Earth. It looks like a solid story that will make a fun animated film.

Justice League: War will be released in 2014.
