Two new amazing trailers for The Legend of Korra!

News of the new series The Legend of Korra continues to pour in and now fans can watch not one but two new trailers for the show that feature all new footage! These trailers are packed with some truly great scenes. You can see a mysterious new enemy and the anti-benders, new friendships, internal struggles, and if you look closely, you may just get a glimpse of a fan favorite character from the original series.

Who else is crazy excited about this series?
The Legend of Korra will air on Nickelodeon Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11am.

Jurassic Park is being re-released in 3D!

It's official. Steven Spielberg and Universal Pictures will be re-releasing the original Jurassic Park in 3D. The movie definitely has moments that will lend itself to a very cool 3D affect (that chase scene between the tyrannosaurus and the jeep will look awesome!) but I can't help but wonder how the movie will look as a whole. I love this movie, so this might be one 3D re-release that I will go see.

The 1993 dinosaur hit will be making its way back into the theaters on July 19, 2013.

More character photos from G.I. Joe: Retaliation!

With the internet still buzzing about the new Snake Eyes photograph that was released yesterday, fans are now being treated to even more photos from the upcoming G.I. Joe: Retaliation. This time we get to see Jinx (Elodie Yung), Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki), and Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson). Both Lady Jaye and Roadblock look great in their photos but the one I am excited about here is Jinx. I loved her character when I was little and am really excited to see how she is portrayed on the big screen. What you think of these new shots?

G.I. Joe: Retaliation will hit theaters on June 22, 2012.

Japanese The Avengers trailer will blow you away!

Furthering the stereotype that Japan always gets cooler things than the western world, the Japanese trailer for The Avengers has been released and it will blow your comic loving mind away! It is by far better than those we have seen here in the US and has some amazing new footage.

In this new trailer we get to see Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, more of Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, a few shots of Hawkeye getting in on the action, more shots of Black Widow, and more great shots of the invading aliens (which have been confirmed by Whedon to not be the Skrull or Kree).

Also, is it just me or does the Japanese voice over make this trailer even more badass?

New image of Snake Eyes from G.I. Joe: Retaliation

A new image of Snake Eyes (played by Ray Park) has surfaced from the upcoming movie G.I. Joe: Retaliation. They have managed to give him an entirely new suit that has a more updated/sleek look while maintaining the core of what Snake Eyes should look like. Well done.

What do you think of this new look for our silent ninja?

G.I. Joe: Retaliation will hit theaters on June 22, 2012

LEGO movie storyline announced

Believe it or not, a LEGO movie is in the works and its coming from the directoral minds of Phil Lord and Chris Miller(Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street). The untitled movie has already started pre-production and is said to be "really weird in a great way. It's crazy." A story based on the LEGO toys might be hard to imagine but lets see what Lord and Miller had to say.
"It is the story of basically a young man who doesn't have a creative bone in his body and has to always build things from the instructions. He's an 'instructions worker.' In the Lego city, they build buildings, and it turns out in this universe it's illegal to build apart from the instructions," Lord said. "So what he finds out is that he's actually descendant from these like super creative Jedi-type people who are called 'Master Builders' and he has been charged with saving the universe from being frozen together by an evil bad guy, …

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie gets a release date

Paramount has been shaking up their release dates for the upcoming line up and in the jumble, the date of the future Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot has been released. The turtles will get their own new movie on December 25, 2013. Not much information is known about this new movie but it has been said that Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans) will be directing and that the movie will be a live action-CGI combo. It would think that the turtles themselves would be CGI, while enemies like The Shredder and The Foot would all be live action.

How do you feel about a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot and the fact that it will be a live action-CGI combo?

New Battleship Trailer shows it's more than just a game

Previous trailers for the upcoming Battleship have made the movie seem like it was going to be nothing more than a poor board game adaptation. (I don't know if any will ever beat Clue.) However, with the release of the third trailer, the action has picked up in such a manner that it would even give Michael Bay and Transformers a run for their money.

This new trailer reveals some glimpses of the aliens behind this new attack, shows us action packed explosions, new high tech alien weaponry, and our armed forces going toe to toe with an alien threat that means to wipe us from existence. It's still hard to tell whether this film will be a flop or huge success (it can still go either way) but the trailers are definitely delivering some intense action. Enjoy!

Battleship will sail into theaters on May 18th.

The Hunger Games mall tour poster

Recently, the cast of the upcoming The Hunger Games went on tour across the US to promote the movie while meeting both press and fans. This mall tour went from March 3-10th. Each stop included a Q&A event where fans had the chance to ask questions of their favorite cast members and participate in fun giveaways.

I just came across this poster featuring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen promoting the event and it is great. You can see Lawrence surrounded by flames as she nocks her arrow in her bow preparing to fire and the symbol of the mockingjay behind her.

The world will be watching on March 23rd.
May the odds be ever in your favor.
