New concept art for Star Wars: The Force Awakens shows off a new TIE fighter!

We have already seen that the X-Wing will be getting an upgrade in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens but thanks to a new piece of concept art found be Indie Revolver it appears that the TIE fighter will be as well!

This redesign of the TIE fighter has several noticeable changes which include a new paint job, what looks like a larger cockpit with more windows, engines on the sides attached to the wings, and larger wings as well. The very interesting thing to note in this piece of art is that there area pair of red cloaked Imperial Guards standing outside of the ship. In the previous films, the only time that we saw these guards was when they were protecting the emperor. Could this be a new emperor's ship? Could the old emperor still be alive or have a clone? Could this ship belong to the villain Kylo Ren?

Who do you think this new ship belongs to and who do you think the Imperial Guards are protecting?

See Howard the Duck's selfie with the Guardians of the Galaxy!

It seems that the Guardians of the Galaxy and Howard the Duck won't just be connecting on the big screen but in their comics as well! Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso tweeted the cover art to the second issue of Howard the Duck's new comic line where he is taking a "selfie" with the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Guardians are all making duck faces and it doesn't look like Howard is too happy about this photo. This cover was created by artist Joe Quinones.

Fan recreates the Avengers: Infinity War trailer in high definition!

During a recent press event, Marvel released the titles and dates for their upcoming Phase 3 films which included Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and 2. As though the announcement all the Phase 3 films was not enough, Marvel shared a trailer for Infinity War. This trailer eventually leaked but one dedicated Marvel fan has recreated the trailer in high definition for others to enjoy.
"Here's my attempt at recreating the leaked trailer of Avengers - Infinity War in full high definition. I know I'm pretty late into the part but its only by the time I finished this that I realized others had already done it. Being a Marvel fan, I nevertheless, had to complete this.  I thought of using the exact same sound from the event to keep the reverb feel of the dialogues and of course, the crowd reaction. This was also because doing the sound seemed a bit difficult for me (I'm a newbie you see)  Some shots were also replaced with shots I saw as the best / closest substitutes. This is …

Behind the Magic: The Visual Effects of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".

Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier was a smash hit at the box office and one of the many reason that it did so well was the film's stunning visual effects. Here is a wonderful video that highlights how these effects were made and shows you the layering of effects that created one incredible film.
"We are proud to present a sampling of of ILM’s visual effects work for Marvel's blockbuster hit, 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo.   This reel represents a small sampling of the nearly 900 visual effects shots ILM contributed to the film created by an international crew of 300+.  The bulk of ILM's work appears in the film's third act and consists of the helicarrier's massive underwater hanger, their ensuing battle, and the helicarriers themselves inside and out, sprawling digital Washington D.C. and Rosslyn environments including the Triskelion building complex on Roosevelt Island, highly detailed …
