New trailer for the Batgirl web series Batgirl: Spoiled [video]

When you say the name Batgirl, most comic fans will automatically think of Barbara Gordon or Cassandra Cain. But don't forget that there was a third Batgirl that dawned the cowl from 2009-2011; Stephanie Brown. Stephanie Brown was at one point an amateur crime-fighter called Spoiler, then later became the fourth Robin, and then finally in 2009 became the third Batgirl.

Though with all this history, Stephanie Brown has never gotten the love and attention from fans that she deserves. But one group of loyal fans are looking to change all of that with a web series titled 'Batgirl: Spoiled'. They have released a 4 minute trailer that features a stand alone fight sequence that shows Batgirl crushing some thugs. It's odd that we do not hear Batgirl talk in this trailer but the creators promised that her comical wit will definitely be in the series. "Its finally here! At long last, we now present the full trailer of "Batgirl: Spoiled". I'm sure it'…

David Tennant all but confirms his Doctor Who 50th Anniversary appearance on G4! [video]

In a recent interview on G4's Attack of the Show, David Tennant joined Matt Mira to talk about the latest news on his upcoming miniseries, The Spies of Warsaw, on BBC America and of course, Doctor Who.

It was only a matter of time before Mira brought up Doctor Who's 50th anniversary and whether or not fans could expect Tennant to make an appearance. Of course Tennant couldn't come out right and say he was doing it but he didn't say he wasn't either. He has made it clear in the past that he would love to come back one day if they asked him.

“I cannot be drawn on anything. Who knows what will happen next year? I’m sure there are lots of plans being discussed in quiet rooms by men with long beards and great power.” He went on to add, “I am not confirming or denying anything!” When asked about his iconic suit from Doctor Who Tennant replied, “I have it in a very secure location… I have one of everything that I wore. I hope moths haven’t got it!” Sounds like a co…

Jennifer Lawrence's salary gets multiplied by 20 for Catching Fire!

It's no surprise that when a actor or actress return for a sequel that they will be rewarded with a raise. But the raise that Jennifer Lawrence is getting for The Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire,  is sure to make co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth quite jealous.

Lawrence earned $500,000 for her role as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games. After the huge success of the movie and being the heart of the film the actress is reportedly getting twenty times her Hunger Games salary for the sequel. That's right, twenty times! For Catching Fire Lawrence will be earning $10 million.

This may pale in comparison to actors/actresses in other franchise movies such as Daniel Radcliffe who earned $33 million for the last Harry Potter installment or Kristen Stewart who raked in $20 million for her last Twilight film, but having your paycheck multiplied by twenty is still a pretty good deal.

Do you think that the pay increase for Lawrence is justified? Do you think she should r…

The Avengers compete in the London 2012 Summer Olympics!

It would be interesting if super heroes could join the Olympic Games and compete in events best suited to their skills. Deviant Artist scargeear has drawn a set of pictures that shows us what events characters from The Avengers would participate in in the London 2012 Summer Olympics. The events chosen for each character make perfect sense but I am trying to figure out if there may be a better event for Loki. I love that the Hulk is throwing Tony Stark in his wresting photo though. Too funny.

Check out the heroes and the events and see if you agree with what they have been entered in.

Archer and Bob's Burgers plan a crossover!

The shows Archer (FX) and Bob's Burgers (Fox) are doing very well in the respective markets. The one thing that connect these two shows is voice actor H. Jon Benjamin who voices both title characters. Despite the fact that Benjamin uses his own voice to voice his characters, he has made quite a career out of voice acting.

The only thing that would make his career any better would be if two of his voiced characters, from different shows, were to meet. Well, it may be a round-about way of doing it but that is exactly what fans are going to get. It was announced that Archer and Bob's Burgers will have a crossover event on the fourth season of the show Archer with the two title characters 'meeting'. Even better, John Roberts who voices Linda, Bob's wife on Bob's Burgers, will also come over to voice her character on Archer. Sadly, Bob's mischievous children will not be making the trip.
"As Benjamin explained, the unorthodox crossover follows a kind of B…

Are you a fan of bacon? Of course you are!! What a silly question. Then you should check out this funny music video sung by the Meat Wizard that is all about delicious bacon! "This song is about that most wonderous of meats, the bacon. It also introduces the world to the mighty Meat Wizard. He gets his power by tapping in to a universal meat dimension. Fox looks to keep Daredevil, in talks with Marvel to give back rights to Galactus and Silver Surfer

Big news has surfaced for Marvel fans. Fox and Marvel are currently in talks that will benefit both sides and should make a lot of comic movie fans happy.

Fox currently owns the films rights to Daredevil and the Fantastic Four. However, if Fox does not start filming another Daredevil movie before October 10th, those film right will revert back to their previous owner, Marvel. In order to extend this deadline Fox has entered talks with Marvel.
"One reason for the backroom dealings: Fox is in discussions with Joe Carnahan to direct what’s been described as a “Frank Miller-esque, hardcore 70s thriller” take on blind Hell’s Kitchen superhero Matt Murdock" In order to keep the rights to Daredevil, Fox may be willing to give the rights to Galactus and Silver Surfer back to Marvel. However, Fox will retain the film rights to the Fantastic Four. This could be a big deal as it is rumored that Galactus and Silver Surfer could play a large role in upcoming Marvel films.

Avatar: The Last Airbender cast heads to Hogwarts!

Fans of the Harry Potter franchise often like to figure out what school houses other characters in other franchises would be in. Often these discussions lead to some pretty fun debates between fans. Deviant Artist Viria13 created a great crossover piece between Harry Potter and Avatar: The Last Airbender that shows us the Avatar cast sitting in class in Hogwarts Castle. This is a fun drawing and I think the artist did a good job on the house placements. How do you think she did?
