New image of Spider-Man wearing an alternate symbiote suit from Spider-Man 3 looks spectacular!

Spider-Man 3 may not have been a hit with many Spidey fans out there but there were still some scenes that were done perfectly. Unfortunately, these were few and far between and there were too many changes to Spidey's story (or too much crammed into one movie). One change that ultimately had fans upset with the look of the symbiote suit when it was worn by Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. Instead of going with the classic comic look they instead went for a straight color change of Spider-Man's red and blue suit and just turned it black and gray. This was of course a decision that Director Sam Raimi stuck with and defended. It wasn't the first look that they gave Spidey for his symbiote suit however. It appears that the first look that went into development was a much more faithful to the comics and certainly looked a lot cooler. As fans know though this look was scarped and never made it to screen.
"Online rumors say it's because the suit was made out of latex and didn't work well. Other rumors say Raimi didn't like the look of the suit and he wanted to keep the webbing on the black suit."
I personally would have loved to see this suit on screen. Maybe if the latex didn't work they could have found something else to make it out of. The smooth look and the enlarged spider emblem look spectacular! What do you think? Is this suit better than the one used in the film? Would you have liked to have seen it make it into the final cut?
