Michael Bay casts Master Splinter in the new Ninja Turtles film!
Producer Michael Bay has just cast the role of Master Splinter in the new Ninja Turtles film. Splinter is the Turtle's surrogate father and sensei who is also a victim to mutation becoming a giant rat. The role in the film will be played by actor Danny Woodburn (Sienfeld, Mirror, Mirror).
The film is going to be a hybrid of live-action and CGI so it'll be interesting to see how they make Master Splinter look in the film and how Woodburn will be used to act out the part. Will he be doing his own martial arts? I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
What do you think of the casting of Woodburn as Master Splinter?
Ninja Turtles is set to hit theaters on June 6, 2014.
