Nintendo announces Amiibo figurines for the Wii U! Find out how they'll be used! [video]

Nintendo has finally unveiled their new "figurine" line that has been kept in the shadows until now. It was revealed at E3 that this figurine line will be called "Amiibo" and will use near field technology with the Wii U (and soon to be 3DS). The figures will be used in various games like Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8 but the impressive part is how they will be used. I admit that I did not expect this coming. Watch the video below to see the first full line of figures as well as how the figures will be used. I know that I'll be picking these up.
