Actor Tyler Perry is cast to play Baxter Stockman in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2.
The casting news keeps rolling out for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel as another character as just been confirmed! It was recently announced that Casey Jones and Bebop and Rocksteady would be in the sequel but now Variety is reporting that actor Tyler Perry (Gone Girl) has joined the cast as the scientiest Baxter Stockman!
There is currently no information on the film's story but Baxter Stockman is the man responsible for the creation of the robotic Mousers which are large, deadly robotic rats that are used by Shredder to seek out and kill the Turtles. Later Stockman gets mutated into a humanoid fly that stays in the employment of the villainous Shredder.
With the addition of Baxter Stockman, I wouldn't be surprised to see the mousers appear in the sequel and perhaps Stockman will be mutated by the end of the film or even the third film if the franchise gets that far.
