First teaser trailer for DC Universe's Swamp Thing gives fans their first look at the title character.

Swamp Thing is returning from the depths of the water in the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Swamp Thing show that will stream on DC Universe. This is the first official look at the character and fans should be happy. Unfortunately, the show's first season was recently cut from 13 episodes to 10 with a rewritten ending so here's hoping nothing too bad happens to the story originally laid out.

Synopsis:

"SWAMP THING follows Abby Arcane as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe."

Swamp Thing will stream on DC Universe on May 31, 2019.
