Doctor Who teaser trailer announces the 13th Doctor!

The anticipation is finally over! After actor Peter Capaldi announced that he would officially be leaving the hit show Doctor Who fans began speculating who would take over the iconic role of The Doctor but the wait is now over!

Ladies and gentlemen, the new Doctor is ... Jodie Whittaker! That's right. The BBC pulled the trigger and has hired a female Doctor!



Fans may recognize Whittaker from the show Broadchurch. The Doctor Who fandom is sure to be split on this decision. It's a bold move by the BBC. We'll have to wait and see how this plays out and how she'll be in the role.
