A new Pokemon Direct reveals Pokken Tournament DX for the Switch and Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for the 3DS.
This morning Nintendo released an all new Pokemon Direct. The new Direct was short at just 8 minutes long but was packed with some pretty interesting things.
First announced was Pokken Tournament DX for the Nintendo Switch. This update to the popular Wii U game will feature five new Pokemon fighters including Darkrai, Scizor, Empoleon, Croagunk, and Decidueye. Several new match modes will also be available. The game will hit store shelves on September 22, 2017.
Next up was the announcement for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Not a lot of footage was shown but new forms of Solgaleo and Lunala were shown (pictured above). The new games will take place in the world of Pokemon Sun and Moon and will feature a new alternate story and Pokemon not seen in the original games. Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will hit shelves on November 17, 2017.
Lastly, Nintendo will be releasing Pokemon Gold and Silver for the 3DS virtual console. Pick up these classics on September 22, 2017.
