A younger Albus Dumbledore will be featured in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sequel.

Big news was revealed for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them franchise by director David Yates himself. While at a press junket today Yates confirmed that we will be seeing a younger Albus Dumbledore in this new series. Given what we have seen and know of the films so far, fans have been speculating that they would see him but weren't sure when his appearance would come about. Yates also revealed that little bit as well.

"“In the second movie Dumbledore comes back. He’s got a couple of good scenes with Newt… We’re discussing who would play Dumbledore, any suggestions would be good. [Laughs]”"
I am really excited to see what this new franchise and story could bring to Dumbledore's character. Whoever gets cast as the younger Dumbledore will have big shoes to fill as both Richard Harris and Michael Gambon were brilliant Albus Dumbledores.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be in theaters on November 18, 2016.
