Brilliant Star Wars fan film TK-436: A Stormtrooper Story dives into the life of a loyal Imperial Stormtrooper.

Throughout the Star Wars franchise stormtroopers have always seemed like a faceless foot soldier (until Finn came around in Star Wars: The Force Awakens). You never really take notice of their individuality because there is none.

However, this fan film titled "TK-436: A Stormtrooper Story" turns all that around and makes you feel for one trooper in particular. It was created by Samtubia and Samgoma Edwards and it won the Filmmaker’s Select award at this year’s Star Wars Celebration Europe event from a panel of judges that included Rouge One: A Star Wars Story's director Gareth Edwards, executive producer John Knoll of Industrial Light & Magic, and co-producer John Swartz.
"UnBoxed Films presents, TK-436: A Stormtrooper Story, the gritty tale of a loyal Imperial Stormtrooper who is forced to confront his past in the heat of an epic battle. It is directors Samtubia & Samgoma Edwards. It is imagined from a perspective that is seldom explored within the Star Wars universe."
