A truly magical moment; Angela Lansbury sings 'Beauty and the Beast' at 25th Anniversary screening.

This is truly magical and in every sense of the word - beautiful.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast held its 25th Anniversary screening yesterday at Lincoln Center in New York City and in a stunning performance, actress Angela Lansbury came out to sing the title song to the Disney classic. If you can believe it, Lansbury is 90 years old (about a month away from her 91st birthday). She sings this song with as much elegance and grace and the day the film premiered. Accompanying Lansbury is Alan Menken on the piano.

I have to admit that I love that Belle and Beast came out in the beginning and to show respect curtsied and bowed to her. Lansbury even throws out a cute little reference to Chip at the end. This really made me smile. I could watch it over and over. Enjoy.



The Beauty and the Beast 25th Anniversary Blu-ray and DVD comes out tomorrow, September 20, 2016.
