Official trailer and synopsis for the X-Men inspired show "Legion" are released.

The first trailer and synopsis for the X-Men inspired show Legion premiered at San Diego Comic Con and it seems pretty interesting. The main character is David Haller, aka Legion, and is played by actor Dan Stevens. In the comics Legion is actually the son of Gabrielle Haller and Charles Xavier and is a very powerful mutant in his own right. It'll be interesting to see what they do with this character and his various abilities. His ability is to absorb a person's psyche into his own and hold it as an alternate personality and manifest their superhuman abilities when they are dominant, which includes: telepathy, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, time travel, and reality warping.

Synopsis:

"Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real."
