Official Assassin's Creed film trailer takes you back to 15th Century Spain.

Get ready to jump back to 15th Century Spain as Michael Fassbender stars as Callum Lynch / Aguilar in the upcoming film adaptation of the hit video game Assassin's Creed. The first trailer has officially been released and it looks like all the elements needed for a good Assassin's Creed film are present.

Film synopsis:

"The Assassin’s Creed movie follows a character by the name of Callum Lynch who, through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, is able to experience the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day."

Assassin's Creed will be in theaters on December 21, 2016.
