Lin-Manuel Miranda and J.J. Abrams perform Star Wars: The Force Awakens' cantina song live outside the Hamilton theater.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, the writer of the Tony-nominated musical Hamilton, got together with director J.J. Abrams this morning outside of the theater showing his play in New York City to perform the song that he wrote for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Miranda's song played during the "cantina scene" at Maz Kanata's sanctuary on Takodana. The song is song in Huttese, the language of the Hutts, and is very interesting to hear. Before he starts singing, Miranda explains a little about the song describing it as Shaggy intergalactic remix to Shaggy's song "It Wasn't Me".
