Mark Hamill releases the first image of Batman and Joker from the animated film The Killing Joke.

Actor Mark Hamill has revealed the very first image of the upcoming DC animated film The Killing Joke. Based on the 1988 Batman comic story arc, this is one story that goes down in Batman history as one of the greats. The photo features Batman and Joker and came with the caption:

"THE "All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy...Just one bad day.""

Mark Hamill is back to voice Joker along with Kevin Conroy who will reprise his role as Batman. They'll be joined by Tara Strong as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl and Ray Wise as Commissioner James Gordon.

The Killing Joke will be released in 2016.
