Margot Robbie confirms they did try out Harley Quinn's jester outfit for Suicide Squad.

Harley Quinn is one of the biggest Batman characters out there and fans could not be more excited that she is finally coming to the big screen in the upcoming film Suicide Squad. Many were sad that they gave Harley a whole new outfit instead of her classic "jester" outfit from Batman: The Animated Series where she made her debut. However, news came out that Harley would be wearing many different outfits throughout the film so there was a glimmer of hope that it may appear.

Actress Margot Robbie, who'll play Harley in the Suicide Squad film, recently spoke about the various costumes stating,

"“I cannot emphasize enough how many outfits, and how many variations of the Harley Quinn costume we tried. We tried the court jester costume, we tried the corset and skirt, we tried leather pants, we tried literally every type of costume possible for her. I really love where we ended up. And who knows, maybe in the sequels we’ll go with the court jester one. I think there’s a world of possibilities.”"

This sounds pretty solid that we won't see the jester outfit in the first film but it is still pleasing to know that the studio did try the outfit out. Many fans out there will have there fingers crossed that it'll appear in the sequel. Myself included.
