The Simpsons are in danger in the new couch gag for this year's "Treehouse of Horror" Halloween special.

Fox has released tomorrow's opening couch gag from The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror XXVI and it is very unique. If the animation style looks familar it is because the opening was created by John Kricfalusi, the animator of the old Nickelodeon show Ren and Stimpy. You'll see the Simpson children trick or treating and find themselves in a pretty sticky situation as a monster starts to eat their souls. This is all done through a fun musical number and this kind of dark humor is exactly the style of humor that I would expect from a Ren and Stimpy show. Enjoy!
