Matt Ryan will return as John Constantine on the CW's Arrow for a Constantine / Arrow crossover episode!


Rumors have been cycling around about a possible Arrow and Constantine crossover for a while but when Constantine was unfortunately canceled fans understood that was most likely not happening anymore.

It appears we all thought wrong! Actor Matt Ryan who played John Constantine has confirmed that he will be back in the role once more for a crossover event on Arrow!
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the crossover will occur during Arrow's fifth episode of season 4 which is titled "Haunted". Constantine will provide, "“critical support to Oliver (Stephen Amell) when arrows aren’t enough.”" This should be an amazing episode. Be aware though that this is just a one shot deal. Matt Ryan won't be making regular appearances on Arrow.

Executive producer Marc Guggenheim stated,
"“We are thrilled to have Matt Ryan reprise the role of John Constantine on an upcoming episode of Arrow. Matt is an incredibly talented actor and his portrayal of this beloved character was always something we admired. The introduction of magic and mysticism on the show this season has provided a truly organic opportunity for us to bring John Constantine to Arrow and the CW’s DC universe. It will be a well-deserved tip of the hat to all the Constantine fans who were so incredibly supportive of that series.”"
