iwerkz SOL-RX 13 Watt Dual USB Solar Charger
(Quarter used for size  omparison.)
Charging your electronic devices on the go. It's something that everyone needs from time to time and iwerkz has come up with a new product that will greatly help you out. The iwerkz SOL-RX 13 Watt Dual USB Solar Charger. This product is great for hikers, bikers, camping, or just hanging around your backyard or beach.

Check out my review inside the full article.

I have been using the iwerkz SOL-RX 13 Watt Dual USB Solar Charger for about 2 weeks now and have been getting great results from it. I have been using it to charge my Droid Maxx and my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and both charge perfectly. Charging speed (on a sunny day) seems to be equivilent to charging with your AC adapter. Charging time and strength though is dependant on how sunny of a day it is. But on a bright, sunny day you will find that there are no problems at all. Cloudy days may still charge your device but you'll notice a slow charge. This is to be expected with a solar charger though.

This charger is great for those on the go, whether you are hiking, biking, or just relaxing in your backyard away from a wall outlet. Many usually opt for a regular electronic external charger but now you can save that for night and use this solar charger during the day. It's time to harness the power of the sun.

The device is large but it folds in half to a more comfortable size for packing and is held closed with a magnetic closure which works great. It has a dual charging port to support charging two devices at once. Along the back there are "Accessory Straps" to connect the charger to your backpack or bike which is a very nice added feature and what makes this device great for hikers. The straps are securely sewn on and are great quality, as is the entire device, There is a small built in storage pocket that is good for papers or a charging cord. (A USB to micro USB cord is included with the device.) Also, the fact that this device is water resistant is a very nice plus. So no need to worry about a few drops of rain water getting on the solar panels. It is only water resistant however (not water proof) so don't stay in the rain too long.

The one thing that some might be concerned about is that the built in stand attached to the back is off center so you have to find the right balance to use the stand. If you are placing it on a hard flat surface you will not have a problem but if you are placing it on uneven groud you may have to find a good balance for it. This is not a deal breaker but something that should be noted.

Overall, this solar charger works great and I would recommend this to everyone who is on the go, especially hikers and campers.
