Jurassic World 2 release date is announced!

Earlier this week Jurassic World surpassed Marvel's The Avengers and took the third highest all time grossing film in history with $1.522 billion. That is an amazing accomplishment. Congratulations!

Now it seems Universal Pictures is hungry for more. It has officially been announced that the Jurassic World sequel will be released on June 22, 2018. Variety is reporting that Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will both return to reprise their roles while Steven Spielberg will executive produce. Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow will be back to co-write the screen play with Derek Connolly.

I think it's great they are making a sequel but they need to be very careful. There are only so many times you can have a park fall apart before the stories start becoming ridiculous. Are you excited for a Jurassic World sequel? What do you think the story could be about?
