Suicide Squad cast receives some very creepy gifts from Jared Leto's Joker including a live rat and more!

Suicide Squad has been film in Toronto, Canada for a while now but there was one co-star who couldn't be there at the start of shooting, actor Jared Leto. To show his co-stars that he was working hard on becoming the Joker for the film he sent them some very creepy Joker-esque letters and gifts that included a live rat and more!

Actor Adam Beach, who will be playing the villain Slipknot in Suicide Squad, recently spoke to E! Online and revealed the creepy gifts that Leto had sent some cast members.

""He sent [Margot Robbie] a nice love letter with a black box with a rat in it—a live rat. It was beautiful. Then he sent bullets to Will [Smith] with a letter.""

Along with those gifts he also sent the entire cast a video along with a dead hog. Beach goes on to talk a little bit about the video.

""Basically, what he said was, 'Guys, I can't be there but I want you to know I'm doing my work as hard as you guys,' The video he showed is in character. It blew our minds away. Then we realized that day, this is real.""

I may not yet be on board for Leto's look as the Joker in the film but he certainly has the mindset down. Although weird or creepy those are some pretty perfect gifts from his character to theirs. I am interested to see what Leto brings to the Crown Prince of Crime.
