Jurassic World has the third largest box office opening day ever!

Jurassic World has been a smash hit with fans and the box office records are showing it.  (If you haven't seen the film yet I highly recommend it!)

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the film pulled in an estimated $82.8 million during its opening night ($18.5 million from included Thursday sales)! This number officially puts Jurassic World in third for the biggest opening day for a film ever! The two films that exceeded it are Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 and Avengers: Age of Ultron. This does mark the biggest opening sales for Universal Pictures and it looks like the film will go on to break several other record by the end of the weekend.

If you haven't seen the film yet be sure to get out this weekend and check it out. If you have seen it, go see it again! (Yes, it is that good!)
