The making of Star Wars at Madame Tussauds London!

Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London has just opened a brand new section that focuses on the iconic characters of the Star Wars franchise! In honor of the opening, a new video has been released that shows off the hard work that goes into creating the life like wax statues.

Watch as a team of 180 talented sculptors create statues for Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and many other fan favorite characters. You'll find out behind the scenes secrets like how Luke Skywalker's hair consists of 10,000 indivually placed (by hand) strands of human hair while Chewbacca used yak hair and took 10 people 800 hours to complete.

The video shows off  a lot of really cool secrets to the sculpting and creating of these life like statues. I hope that this section comes to the Madame Tussauds in New York City so that I can visit and see it in person. Enjoy!
