All new featurette for the Poltergeist remake has new footage and interviews from Sam Raimi and Gil Kenan.

Things have been quiet about the new Poltergeist remake but a new featurette has just been released today that will excite fans.

Showing off all new footage with interviews from producer Sam Raimi and director Gil Kenan on how they are reintroducing a classic tale to modern audiences, this featurette makes me think that this film has a chance at being good. The film does after all appear to be faithful to the original.

"A young family are visited by ghosts in their home. At first the ghosts appear friendly, moving objects around the house to the amusement of everyone, then they turn nasty and start to terrorise the family before they "kidnap" the youngest daughter."

Poltergeist will open in theaters on May 22, 2015.
