ABC is looking to bring back The Muppet Show!

Since their big screen return in 2011, The Muppets have been making a big come back and it appears as though it has all paid off. TV Line is reporting that ABC is currently in development to bring back The Muppet Show!

This reboot show will be co-written by The Big Bang Theory co-creator Bill Prady. Prady will also be executive producer for the reboot. Along for the ride will be Bob Kushell (Anger Management) who will co-write and be the show's showrunner.

The original The Muppet Show successfully ran from 1976 to 1981 and even had a shortlived, 10 episode revival in 1996 with Muppets Tonight. Will audiences today gravitate to the Muppets once again like they did all those years ago?
