Take a look at Ahsoka Tano's new lightsabers in Star Wars Rebels!

*Spoilers for the season final of Star Wars Rebels.

The season finale of Star Wars Rebels saw the return of a fan favorite character that made everyone cheer out in excitement. Throughout Season 1 of the show Hera was in contact with a mysterious contact known as Fulcrum. Fulcrom handed missions to Hera which she carried out with the crew of her ship, the Ghost. Int he finale, we finally learned the identity of Fulcrum and it turned out to be Ahsoka Tano! Ahsoka was last seen leaving the Jedi order in the hit show Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Unfortunately, because of the show's cancellation, fans never learned where Ahsoka wound up. When we last saw Ahsoka she was about 16 years old. Now she is a full grown adult (about her early 30s) and a leader in the rebellion.

While talking to USA Today, Executive Producer Dave Filoni stated,
"She's a person who has a lot of her own trials that she still needs to get through," says Filoni, who sees Ahsoka in Rebels the same way he saw Alec Guinness' Obi-Wan Kenobi when he was a kid watching Star Wars.
"Obi-Wan spoke about these Clone Wars and these things that had gone by, and she can be that in an active way for Ezra and Kanan."
When Ahsoka left the Jedi Temple she had to turn in her lightsabers. Obviously this wouldn't stop Ahsoka from creating her own and that is just what she has done. She now wields two sabers that are white, one with a long blade and another with a short one. It'll be fun to see how she uses this in her fighting technique. Speaking about her lightsabers, Filoni said,
"And her lightsabers are completely new as well. There'll be a great moment where she actually turns those things on for the first time in Season 2 and you'll see that her blades are basically white because she's not a Jedi and she's not evil to kind of reflect her non-affiliation."
Below you can see an image of Ahsoka Tano grown up wielding her new lightsabers. I really like the look of them and can't wait to see what her character brings to Star Wars Rebels. Are you excited that Ahsoka is back?
