Matt Smith's role in Terminator Genisys is revealed!

Until now fans have only been able to speculate as to who actor Matt Smith (Doctor Who) was playing in the upcoming Terminator Genisys. All the guessing is now over though as his character's identity has been revealed!

*Spoilers for the film ahead!*

We know that Smith's character would be a new character to the franchise who has a strong connection to John Conner but the truth of his character is so much more. According to Latino Review, test screenings have revealed that Matt Smith character is a very big deal.

"In Terminator: Genisys Matt Smith plays the embodiment of Skynet. Similar to Helena Bonham Carter's role in McG's Terminator: Salvation, Smith will be the antagonist system given form, different from the nebulous corporate villainy of Terminator 2: Judgement Day and vague apocalypse technophobia of the first."

This is an interesting idea but I am curious to see how it all plays out in the film. Do you think Matt Smith being the embodiment of Skynet is a good idea?
