Fox is moving forward with its X-Men television series.

For some time rumors have been circulating that Fox was looking to bring the X-Men to television with an all new series. Now we finally have some solid news on the matter for The Hollywood Reporter.

The Hollywood Reporter is stating that from their source they have learned that Fox is moving forward to bring the Marvel team to television. Evan Katz and Manny Coto from 24 are set to produce while Patrick McKay and JD Payne from Star Trek 3 are on board to write the show.

Of course, just because Fox is moving forward with this idea does not mean that it is officially happening just yet.
"Fox studio counterpart 20th Century Fox owns the rights to the film franchise (with seven features already released based on X-Men characters). While conversations to bring the franchise to the small screen are under way, sources indicate a deal is far from complete with Marvel — which owns the comic rights — still having to sign off on the deal."
At the moment there is no word on which characters from the team the show will focus on and it appears that the show wouldn't be ready to air until 2016/2017. Would you be interested in seeing the X-Men come to television? What characters would you want the show centered around?
